Chapter one:
Party
*Trinity's POV*
"B, I don't even wanna go to this party. It's not like I have friends that are going" I told her. She pursed her lips after applying the bright red lipstick in the mirror.
"Um, I'm going," she pointed to herself, "anyways, it's not all sweaty people dancing and alcohol, you never know, you might find a boy" she smirked and raised an eyebrow. .
I chuckled and rolled my eyes.
While Beth got ready, I just decided to go on my phone. She takes a long time so why not. I scrolled through twitter not expecting to find tweets about the party but to my surprise everyone was tweeting about it.
After about 5 minutes she was finally ready. She stood in front of me as if there was something wrong.
"Alright let's go" I stood up and put my phone in my pocket.
"Are you serious, your not going in that, this is a frat party not thanks giving dinner at your parents" I laughed but then realized she was totally serious.
"What? There's nothing wrong with jeans and a blazer" I told her.
"Oh there are a lot of things wrong when you wanna wear it to a frat party, borrow some of my clothes and let me do your makeup" I was about to speak up when I stopped myself, there's no getting out of this one.
I looked through her closet and got out a purple strapless dress, that had a lot of sparkle to it.
"How's this one?" I showed her the dress and she just laughed.
"Your not going to a prom either, your not good with these types of things are you?... Here try this" She pulled out a navy blue skirt and a white stripped cropped top.
"I'm not-"
"Good! Now hurry and get dressed, still need to do makeup!" She went to the bathroom and I could hear her playing through her box of supplies.
I quickly got changed, as told. I didn't look that bad to be honest, but It's not me.
I walked into the bathroom and saw Beth's eyes light up.
"Woah. Your hot," she said and I laughed, "now sit and let me do your makeup.
Beth pulled over next to the big house. You could feel the bass of the blaring music in your stomach. Me and b walked to the door, which was already opened. As we walked in, I could already smell the sweat and alcohol drifting through the house. I looked to my side and Beth was already gone. And I wasn't surprised. I went to the kitchen and sat down on a stool.
For awhile I watched a game of shot roulette which looked really fun, just I don't drink.
All of a sudden a boy who looked around my age, maybe older, came up to me. He was really attractive, but really drunk.
"Hey baby, have a drink" he said and handed me a red solo cup.
I shook my head "um, sorry I don't drink"
"Oh c'mon, for me?" He got closer to me, his face only inches away. I could smell the reeking scent of alcohol in his breath.
I tried to push him away but he wouldn't budge. Panic struck inside of me and I put all my strength into my arms and pushed.
"Don't try to get me away from you, it'll just make me want you more"
"Please get away from me" I told him sternly. But he wouldn't take no for an answer.
"Let's be real here, I know you like it" he whispered. I could feel his hand on my waist, slowly working its way lower.
I looked over and was relieved to see Beth running towards me. I mouthed "help" to her and she did exactly that.
"Get off of her" she said and pushed him off of me. He stumbled back and shot his hands up as if he was innocent.
She looked at me again.
"Anyways, truth or dare?" She asked.
"Um-" I was still shocked about what just happened. Am I really that weak?
"Great, let's go everyones waiting." She pulled me towards a big room where everyone was waiting in a big circle. I didn't know anyone in the circle but there was this one guy, and I have to say, I wanna get to know him.
"Ok, someone start?" The game started off with really bad dares, like taking 3 shots in a row or 7 minutes in heaven. Well personally those were bad dares for me.
For awhile nobody really noticed I was there. Until it was b's turn.
"Trinity, t or d?" She asked smirking.
"T?" I said nervous.
"Nice try, I'm making you do d," she said and I rolled my eyes, "I dare you to have 7 minutes in heaven with... Liam"
I looked around for this so called "Liam" and when the cute guy stood up, I felt my cheeks burn.
"well what are you doing, go!" I jumped up and went straight to the closet, with Liam.
Once both of us were in the small area, you could just feel the tension in the air.
"So... What your name?" He asked.
"T- trinity. What's your na- your name?" I struggled to ask.
"I thought you would have caught it by now but Liam" he said, chuckling.
"Um ya sorry that was stupid"
"It's fine" he said laughing.
"So do you go to uni or do u just live around here?" He asked.
"I go to university"
"Really? What one?" He said.
"UofC" I said to him.
"Same! We should meet up sometime" after he said that I was speechless, I can't believe he just basically asked me to hang out with him.
"Sure!"
We chatted for awhile until there was nothing else to talk about. I think we had about 1 more minute left.
"Soo... Are we like supposed to kiss or something?"
"Um id rather not, I kinda just met you and I'm not that kind of person" I told him, chuckling a bit.
He laughed "your different trinity, I like it"
I didn't know what to say.
"I like you too?" I said confused.
He just laughed.
"Alright come out here love birds! Times up!" I heard Beth yell from outside the closet.
We both made our way out and I sat down again.
I saw b smile at me, so I just smiled back. I looked at Liam who was already looking at me. We stared at eachother for awhile, studying every feature since we couldn't see eachother in that dark closet. Out of no where he winked at me and I just smiled like the idiot I am.
The night that I thought would be the worst, actually turned out to be pretty fun.
