It's finally summer! I'm so excited, I'm going into high school next year, I mean 9th grade!
But every year my parents make me go to a stupid summer camp and I know NOBODY that goes. Everyone there is usually an idiot. I hope this year somebody I know will end up going.
I hear my mom yell upstairs "COME ON ITS TIME TO GO!" I groan and yell back "COMING!" I grab my bags and my phone (I usually sneak it) off the counter and drag myself down the stairs into the car. This sucked the ride is usually like an hour! I pulled out my phone and scrolled through Instagram. I looked at Maddie's post of her and Josh. Oh my god no I read the cap "Going to camp with the #mcm! 😍💕" my eyes blurred NO they are going to ruin my life I REALLY hope it's a different camp. I text Maddie
Hey what camp are you guys going to? I saw your post on IG
Her reply came in literally less then 10 seconds she's on her phone waaaay to much.
Camp Edwards why?
She replyed.
Omg this can't be happening it just can't. Maddie is going to the same camp as me. I let out a tiny scream and my mom freaked out "What's wrong honey?" I had to calm down "Oh nothing sorry" I replied in the calmest voice I could manage
I replied to Maddie
Oh it's nothing I'm just going there too 😋
I think I went a little over the top with the smile but I don't need her to hate me!
Maddie replied immediately again

I laughed oh my gosh that smile was so fake, who knows MAYBE we can become friends?
