Chapter 11
The small rays of sunshine woke me up.
Well, that’s a lie. I mean in stories and movies they wake up all beautifully, so why can’t I? Nicole was the one who woke me up. And not in a nice sisterly way, more like throwing heavy objects at me.
Oh little sister, you’re lucky I can’t kill you. “Nicole, stop it. I swear I will-” I screamed at her but she fake cried and screamed “Mom, Elizabeth is screaming at me.” While smiling mischievously at me.
This earned me a shout from downstairs “Elizabeth, treat your sister better!” Nicole stuck her tongue out and I did the same. Childish? Why, I would never.
After she exited my room, I tried to go back to sleep. But on cue, my phone started ringing. This was certainly not my day. It was Kyle. I debated whether or not to pick it up. I decided not to pick it up. I would go over to his house sooner or later to resolve things. And I didn’t want to fight through the phone.
I got up and went to the bathroom and took a shower. I tried to untangle my hair but after a while, I gave up. Hair care is totally not one of my strong abilities. So I let my hair dry naturally, making it a bit more wavy than usual.
I decided that I was going to wear shorts even though I haven’t shaved in a week or so. Who am I going to shave my legs for anyways?
My current outfit was shorts and a band t-shirt with my black converse. I went downstairs and noticed it was actually afternoon.
“Look who’s finally up?” My dad teased
“I’m going to be out most of the day, so go ahead and have family day without me.” I said while grabbing my purse and leaving. I heard my dad scream back, ‘call me or your mother every two hours.’ Well then.
I decided to go to the park first. It was peaceful, plus the sun wasn’t bothering me much. I sat close to a tree, it giving me shade. My phone rang once more and again it was Kyle. This time I picked it up but stayed quiet.
“Ellie?”
“Yes?”
“Can we talk, please?” I stayed quiet once more, “Please?”
“I’m going over to your house in about 10 minutes. We’ll talk then. Bye” This had to be good

I knocked on the wooden door because they didn’t have a doorbell. Immediately the door opened, but it was Jessica.
She engulfed me in a tight hug, “Oh my gosh, Elizabeth Hart! Finally you came to your senses and you’re going to talk to Kyle.”
“Yeah, umm I can barely breathe.” And she stopped hugging me
“I’m sorry. Kyle is upstairs, go ahead.” She opened the door wider
“Thanks” and I went upstairs.
I already knew where his bedroom was. Many memories were shared there –not like that- and there were more to be made –again not like that- I just wish things were different.
His door was the third to my left. He was currently in pajama pants with no shirt pacing around the room. Obviously he didn’t notice me, but I took this as an advantage to stare at his abs. The freaking teenage girl was freaking out inside of me.
His abs weren’t outlined much, but you knew they were there. But you could clearly notice his v-line. Geez Louise!
I fake coughed to get his attention.
“Here I am, talk” I sat on his bean bag chair
“ImsosorryIdidntmeananythingIdid!” He said everything so fast that I could barely understand
