A terrible accident

I had the greatest time with Jordan at the beach. Ever since then we've hung out a lot more for the past few weeks and even done more collabs with our channels. We have even gone rock climbing together. I was terrible at it because of my lack of upper body strength, but that's ok. And from all the hanging out we've been doing my crush on him had developed even more. 

  Anyway I was on the way to his house to hang out. I had the radio turned on and my favorite song came on. So naturally I turned up the volume and sang along with my hearts content. I crossed an intercession after my light turned green then the next thing I knew......

BAM! CRASH!

Jordans POV

I was waiting for (y/n) to come over to hang out. The thought of her made me blush. Why do I have these feelings for her? I haven't felt like this since, well, ever. Is this what love feels like? No. Snap out of it Jordan. She probably doesn't feel like that towards you. 

She should be her in a couple minutes. I sat down on my couch and pulled out my phone to pass the time till she showed up. 10 minutes went by and still no (y/n). 

She just must be running late. I thought.

Another 15 minutes went by. I started to wonder where she could be. 

She would have shot me a text if she was going to be late right? 

I texted her. Hey just wondering if we are still on for today?

I hope she sees it.

~~~1 1/2 hours later~~~~

I started to get worried, so I decided to call her phone. The phone rang and someone picked up. 

"(Y/n)! I started to worry.." I said before I was cut off.

"Jordan this isn't (Y/n), this is her friend Lexi." I heard her voice crack and there was sadness in her voice. It sounded like she had been crying.

"What happened? You sound distressed. What happened to (y/n)?!" I said worryingly.

"She was in a very bad car accident. Her car was T boned on her side so she got pretty messed up." Lexi said.

I was paralyzed. 

"How..how is she?" I asked. I could feel my voice shacking.

"She's alive and not as injured as she could have been if the car that T boned her had been going full speed. She has a broken arm, and ribs. She hit her head pretty hard as well because she blacked out." She told me.

"Can I come and see her?" I asked. 

"You can if you want we're at (random name of hospital in la)." Lexi told me.

I left to go to the hospital as soon as the phone call ended.

~~At the hospital~~

I go up to the hospital desk.

"Hello there. Can I help you sir?" The receptionist said.

"Yes Im here to (fn/ls)." I told her.

She looked her up in the records.

"She is room 210." She said.

"Thank you very much." I told her.

I found my way to the room and there she was, laying in the bed. There was a girl sitting next to her. She had long wavy black hair. 

That must be Lexi.

I walk into the room.

Lexi looks at me.

"Hey I'm Jordan." I told her.

She just stared at me. Her eyes were red and puffy from crying. I look over at (y/n). She was bruised up. There were stitches in her head and her arm was in a sling. 

"The doctors said it would be a while until she woke up. She hit her head pretty badly." Lexi said. 

I look down at her and start to tear up. "This is my fault." I said.

"How?"

"She was on her way to my place to hang out. She would be fine if she...."

"Jordan, this is not your fault. It was the drunk driver who hit her." 

"A drunk driver did this?" I felt myself fill with a little bit of anger. 

"Yes. I think he's here as well but not as injured." She told me.

"The driver never is as injured as the others in the accident." I said.

"Yeah that seems to be the logic. So (y/n) has told me about you." She sniffed and gave me a smile.

"Really?" I said. I felt my heart skip a beat. She talks about me.

"Yeah. She was a big fan of yours before she met ya." Lexi smiled. 

I sat down in the spare chair in the room. "What kind of things does she say about me?" I smirked.

"Just things." Lexi giggles.

We continued talking next to our mutual friend trying to not think of the worst and hoping she wakes up soon from her slumber.
