Steven was sitting on the beach enjoying the hush of the waves infron of him, happy to have peace with the diamonds, see garnet happy to be herself, Bismuth to be with her friends, lapis to be back, Peridot to have a star, pearl to get the secretive weight of her shoulders

The purple gem wanted to comfort Steven about pink diamond. She was the ding dong sunshine future, his love forever.

She wasn't gonna fall apart on him.

He wanted to return the favor.

He got up and burst into the temple to look for garnet for advice.

"Garnet! I need your help!" Steven shouted

"Steven, I'm right here. No need to shout." garnet chuckled

"Oh, pffft right. Silly me!" Steven blushed and sat down next to her

"You need help with a date with amethyst." garnet predicted

"Yeah." Steven nodded

"Hmm, well. What's her favorite meal that you like too?" garnet asked

"Pizza, especially cheese." Steven smiled

Garnet nods

"What does she like to do?" she asked

"She likes to shapeshift, play video games, sometimes she likes chilling on the beach." Steven nodded

"Okay, and would kind of flowers does she like, or does she prefer something else?"

"She likes lilacs. I mean I think she does, cause when visit her in her room she has enormous piles of lilacs." Steven pointed out

"So, what do you say we help you?" garnet asked

"We?" Steven asked

Then ruby and sapphire unfused

"We" ruby smiled

"Don't worry Steven, we won't be split up forever" sapphire placed her hand on his shoulder.

"But don't tell amethyst, or you'll spoil the surprise, 'kay?" ruby reminded

"Okay!" Steven smiled

Ruby sapphire Bismuth and pearl helped out on the date, setting up a picnic on the beach.

Steven sat on the blanket with the lilacs behind him.

Pearl looked for amethyst "amethyst! Were are you! Steven needs to talk about something important!"

Amethyst walked out of her room "ugh..I swear why can't you tell him to tell you to tell me?"

"He says its only bettwen you two" Bismuth said

"Okay..." amethyst walked outside to see Steven staring at the sunset sitting on a purple blanket and a tuxedo on.

"Steven?"

Steven turned around to see amethyst "oh, h-hey amethyst!" he smiled

Amethyst walked over and smiled "what's this?"

"Its a date, I'm sorry if this is out of nowhere, but I figured I might as well repay you, for all that you've done for me." Steven held her hand and kissed it

"That is both the cheesiest and the sweetest think you've ever said Steven, and really I keep my emotions to myself because I don't want you to get stressed. I love you dude. Your my best gem! And I want yo be your sunshine future!" amethyst kissed Stevens lips. "You are my sunshine future amethyst, nothing or no one can change that" he continued kissing her lips.

"Just a sec, lemme fix something" amethyst paused and phased on a knee-length purple dress with white rhinestones along the waist and white leather boots. She then put her hair in a braid, "so, how do I look?" she smirked

"you look..." Steven couldn't speak. Amethyst's already beautiful appearence both inside and out has been increase to being mesmerizing. He couldn't look away "..amazing."
"Here, take these" Steven gave her the lilacs, amethyst gasped and smiled "Steven! I love them! There beautiful!" thank you!" she smiled and kissed his cheek
"Your welcome ame~" Steven smiled and hugged her
The gems watched from the window with loving smiles

"I never thought our pink- Er, Steven, would be in love with a quartz." blue diamond thought, encase you don't know, the diamonds shrunk themselves a bit shorter than garnet so they'd fit

"Im just worried about what'll happen in the future" yellow diamond thought

"Im just glad Steven and Amethyst are happy. That's what matters to me. They deserve this." garnet softly said

"Me too" Bismuth said

The gems all smiled at the couple

After eating the pizza Steven played the song "just the way you are"

Amethyst blushed and Steven reached his hand out "would you like this dance?"Steven smiled (start the song above)

Amethyst took his hand and place her other hand on his shoulder and Steven put his hand on her waist

Amethyst took the first step, Steven took the next and so on

They Steven winked and dipped amethyst causing her to laugh he then stared into her beautiful dark indigo eyes. The most beautiful part of her body, he loved staring into her eyes. But most of all, he loved her. For who she was, and understandable kind, funny, and beautiful.

He smiled and picked her up continuing the slow dance. Steven then let her take control.

Amethyst held both of his hands and pulled him closer and pushed him back and so on, she then held one of his hands and twirled Steven around and dipped him "Rawer!~"amethyst flirted "my puma~" Steven leaned forward and kissed steven passionately on the lips, then there gems glowed.

*POOF*

Smoky fell on their bottom and smiled "Feels good to be back...I missed being me." they said

Garnet smiled at the sight of the fusion, sooner or later, they'll be a permafusion. Her cutie pie wasn't a little kid anymore. He's come so far.

"Whose that?" Bismuth asked

"Smoky quartz" garnet replied with a smile on her face

"I guess I'll have to start accepting fusion sooner or later, huh?" blue diamond smiled

Yellow nodded and held blues hand.

Meanwhile smoky danced to the song and as it ended they jumped into the air as they did so, they stared at the moon.
