Chapter three

*An hour drive later*

"I'm so excited to see this apartment in real life" I said to Emily as drove into the city of Sydney.

"Moni I just have this feeling that this is it, this apartment is it. I just know it is." Emily replied

*Dirty Paradise comes onto the radio*

"Oh my gosh turn it up turn it up Emily" I said sort of freaking out, this had to be my favourite Reece song right now. I couldn't help but sing along.

"Okay this is the Starbucks you'll be meeting Reece at, so we are about a block away from the apartment" Em said with excitement in her voice.

"Do you want to find a park and continue on foot?" I replied

"Why not" Em said pulling into a car spot near Starbucks

I opened the car door and took in my surroundings. I was so ready to get away from home and move up here. I pulled out my phone and checked the time.

"We still have hour, lets go get a drink from Starbucks then walk up to the apartment" I asked Em

"Well you know me I can't say no to Starbucks, when we move up here they will know my name and order off by heart" I laughed at her reply

We walked into Starbucks when i had Emily loop her arm around mine and changed our direction to a table instead of the counter. She always did this when she saw eye candy.

"Sweet Baby Jesus Monique, the guy working is fucking hot" Emily said leaning in to me so only I could hear her. I took a glance at the guy working.

"Damn he's fine"

"Well I sure would like a cup of him" Emily said drooling over him.

"Just go order!" I said pushing her towards the counter, her heart had to be beating faster, because mine was for her.

"Okay, okay"

I hung back a bit so I could watch her order. I was looking at what to order, until I heard Emily laugh. She laughed he made her laugh, he was hitting it off.

After Emily order I went and ordered.

"A regular hot chocolate please" I said to the other co worker of the hottie. sadly he didn't get to take mine.

Emily waited near the door. I collected my drink and headed towards Emily and together we walk out of Starbucks.

"Okay now tell me what were you laughing about hey?" I said as we walked in the direction of the apartment.

"Oh Martin, he said what was a pretty girl like me going to get up to today and i couldn't help but laugh it was so cute. His eye like melted my soul"

"Martin, so what.. you two on first name basis already" I replied with a laugh "What did you tell him?"

"I just told him that I was in the city with my friend to look at an apartment a block away"

"and what did he say after that?"

"he wished me luck with the apartment and hope to see me back at Starbucks real soon" Emily said

"ooooh Emily" I couldn't help but tease. After a short walk we arrived to the apartment, honestly the photos don't give the apartment enough credit. The clock strikes 11:30am and now we could check out this apartment. The sales lady arrived she was a cute older lady she introduced herself, her name was Trish. On the way up to the apartment Trish was telling us a bit about the other people that lived in the apartment across from us.

"They are two lovely boys, maybe a couple years older than you ladies but if i were you i'd be cheering" Trish said

"why is that?" Em and I asked at the same time. Trish lent in towards us

"They are hot" Trish replied Em and I laughed. We followed Trish into the apartment and I was in complete shock, the place was absolutely amazing.

"You were right Em, this is the apartment for us" I said to Emily nodding like a crazy person

"we'll take it" we both said

"I'm so excited for you girls" Trish said and pulled us both in for a hug. Trish was like she was many grandmother she was beautiful.

"When can we move in?" I asked

"Well the place is all ready for you, all you need to do is sign the papers and the place is all yours. So I'll get you to sign them now and you ladies can move in tomorrow if you'd like?"

"Yes please! I need to get out of Wollongong" I said.

Emily and I signed the papers and Trish left us two keys to the place, and we had asked if we could keep in touch with Trish. She was going to be our family while we lived in Sydney. Emily and I stayed at the apartment until 2:00pm. I had asked if Em wanted to come with me to meet Reece but she declined my offer because this was my chance she said, I had asked her what was she going to do instead while I was with Reece she replied with grocery shopping for when we moved in tomorrow.

I walked down to Starbucks and I was starting to get really nervous, my heart was beating so fast. I took a few deep breaths before pushing the door open, I could see Reece sitting down just inside.

"Okay Monique, lets go!" I gave myself a pep talk.
