Mavkenzie's p.o.v

" you'll never get adopted, whimp" my bully, grace, shouts. "I'm not a whimp and I will get adopted" I cry. "whatever helps you sleep at night" she laughs as she kicks me me in the stomach and watches me fall to the floor. "ouch, what was that for" I scream crying my eyes out clenching my stomach. " dunno I just felt like it" she grins. "your so ugly Mackenzie, you'll never get adopted". Yes I will and I am pretty my mom told me before my dad shot her" I shout. Don't raise your voice at me" she screams, kicking my stomach,my arms and my legs. "Please, grace just leave me alone". " ok" she grins as she walks over to my bag, takes out my homework and drops it into a pile of mud. " oops, have fun doing your homework tonight she smile and walks of. I hate her so much.

I manage to get of the ground an put my mucky homework back in my bag.

I walk back to the orphanage. " I'm home" I shout as I close the door. " your an hour late" ms Walsh spits. Ms Walsh is the owner of the orphanage. " I'm sorry, grace was beating me up again". "I dont care if Obama was beating you up your still late". "go up and clean your room" she shouts. " yes ms Walsh" I sigh.

I grab a bucket and start scrubbing the floor. It's all ready 4pm. I end up falling fast asleep there on the floor.

Flash back

"Justin, just put the gun away" I hear mom shout." Neverrrr you must dye" my so called dad drunkenly screams. " please no" my mom cries. Bang. I run down stairs. " No I scream, how could you kill her". " easy. Now its your turn kenzie, kenzie,kenzie.

"Kenzie get up now" ms Walsh screams. "im sorry" I sigh. "do you have your homework done". "no, I fell asleep". "Do it now" she screams while slapping me. I pick up my back pack. I cleaned as much muck of my work and did it. It's already 2:30am. Looks like I'm going to bed with no dinner.
