"Ladies and gents, this is the moment you've waited for."
a young boy sings under his breath. standing out front of Devalan High, his new school, he felt a wave of goose bumps ride up his back. They were not triggered by fear, but by excitement and anticipation for all the new possibilities that lay ahead.
"Been searching in the dark, your sweat soaking through the floor."
A little louder now but still no one took notice as he bounded up the stairs and pushed open the schools double doors.
"and buried in your bones there's an ache that u can't ignore"
as he walked down the hall
now people were noticing, nudging their friends and pointing at the singing freshmen. Stepping back by their lockers to create a lane for him to walk through
"Taking your breath, stealing your mind, and all that's real is left behind."
He caught the eye of a tall blond haired boy who stepped out from the crowd. "You have a powerful voice, will you be joining our choir?" He asked, clearly expecting a yes. Not to disappoint, the young boy replied "of course!"
"The name's Thomas Wells." He extended his hand. "P.t Barnum " He took it and they shook.

This was sort of a flash back. I didn't know if the boss in the beginning had a name, so I created Thomas. Please be patient for updates I am in the middle of moving but was loving The Greatest Showman so here I am. Bye!
