Wanda POV
Today was a very special day it was April 5th,
me and Petiro's 10th birthday!!! We were currently at home playing around and we decided to play hide n seek, Petiro wanted to hide first so I let him.
I counted to 30 and began my search for the young boy I called my twin brother. I looked everywhere, I searched that apartment top to bottom looking in every nook and cranny but I couldn't seem to find him. "Petiro where are you I've been looking for 10 minutes!" I injected very loudly. I stood in the middle of the small living room scanning the room in hopes of finding that brown hair that likes to stick up.
About a moment later I heard soft giggling coming from behind the couch, the one place I didn't check. I climbed onto the couch and carefully looked over the and saw Petiro crouched down his back facing the ceiling. I silently crawled over the couch and landed on Petiro back and cheered "I found you!!!" "
You did but you took ten minutes so that means I'm the best hider in the WORLD!!!!!!" Petiro said o excited "yeah but I didn- " I was suddenly cut from hearing the front door start to creak. Mama and Papa where home!!!!
I scurried over to the door I saw them holding a few items I looked closer and I saw a cake and a new board game.
Mama saw me eyeing the cake and said "we can eat cake after dinner but for now can you please help me prepare?"
"Yay I love cooking"
Mama chuckled and walk over to the kitchen me on her heels.
A little while later we were all sitting at the dinner table feasting on Sokovian dish.We talked and ate. Soon it was time for cake, so Papa brought out the cake and put it in the middle of the table "can I have the first piece!" I ask. "No I want the first piece"
"How about this your papa and I will cut a slice watch at the same time then give one to each of you"
"Ok"
"Ok"
"Good"
Just as we all took the first bit of cake we heard a loud sound.Papa got up and grabbed our hands as Mama started running around grabbing everything in sight. Papa quickly pulled us into our bedroom and told us "stay under here I'll come and check on you once this blows over ok" we both nodded our heads and pushed ourselves under the bed until we could only see a small line of yellow.
A moment later we heard a big pang I held Petiro close and closed my eyes began to cry I didn't know how long I cried but soon all the bangs stopped. I edged closer to the edge of the bed while looking back a Petiro to make sure he was still there and alive. Once I was at a good distance I peaked out from under the bed and saw two shells dead center in the small broken part of the floor and on those shells it said
