Chapter 1- Percy proposes

Percy was nervous. He looked at the mirror and told himself, 'I can do this'. He had told Annabeth to meet him at the lake at 5:00 pm sharp for something special. He also told her to wear her best dress. Jason had helped him prepare a picnic for two, they also asked some of the Apollo campers to play some romantic music. Annie would also be there to help prepare their venue. (A/N Annie is one of the characters in my other book 'daughter of Artemis') Aphrodite was also helping Percy pick outfits buy ended up giving him a complete makeover herself. She was delighted of how Percy looked. He was wearing a black jacket, with a blue polo t-shirt inside tucked in his black slacks. He also wore newly polished black shoes and his hair was gelled up spiky style. Next she went to Annabeth and also gave her a makeover. After a few moments, Annabeth was wearing a blue shirt and black jacket folded to her elbows and a matching black skirt that reached her knees. She was also wearing knee socks and black ballet flats. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail. Aphrodite left her and went to the lake. Then, Annabeth headed for the lake and saw Percy sitting on a blanket filled with her favorite food. "I'm guessing Aphrodite also gave you a makeover" Percy chuckled "Yeah she did". They ate the meal and Percy signalled to Leo who was hiding behind a tree to trigger the surprise. Leo passed the signal to the others and counted to three and they all pushed their buttons and a streamer, fireworks and flowers appeared and made the words, WILL YOU MARRY ME ANNABETH? and when Annabeth turned to Percy, he was on his knees holding a box and slowly opened it showing a ring Leo made. It was silver and had a small orb with water in it. "You're so dumb Percy" Percy frowned "How could you think I could say no?" Percy squeeled and put the ring on Annabeth's finger. They held hands and jumped like little children.
