Stop Living In the Past

Mika's POV:

"After, we leave this prom. I must tell him, I have too! But how will he take it....The news may turn out bad" I thought as I saw him smiling and looking into my eyes.

I looked away and stared down.

"Is something wrong?" Yuu asked me as he was holding my hand.

"I'll tell you later" I said as I pushed him away.

I walked out of the GYM.

I looked at the sky as I thought, "It's going to be finally over"

"Mika?" Someone's voice cut off my thoughts.

I turned around to see him, standing behind me.

"What is it?" I asked Yuu.

"Something is wrong, I can tell" He said as tears started to rush down his cheeks.

"Yuu...." I said under my breath.

"Just tell me, already" He cried out.

"We should get a divorce" I finally said lifting up the weight that was in my chest.

We both stood quiet for a long time as I gave him the papers.

"I'll start moving" I said not looking back at him.

I walked towards my car as I felt something holding my wrist.

"Don't leave...." I heard his voice starting to crack.

I looked at his hand and took it off of me, "I'm tired of this"

He stood quiet for a long time.

"We need to stop living in the past, okay" I said as I cupped his face.

I wiped his tears off his face.

"Hopefully, you understand someday" I said smiling and looked at him.

I took off my wedding ring and gave it to him.

"Take care of it, for me" I said as I got in the car.

When I drove away, it started to rain.

Short part! And making this for a reason so, people can understand from the point of view of there parents; if they get a divorce. And I wish for some of you to relate to this fanfic.
