Richard Goranski, your average teen was swinging on a swing laughing, having fun, goofing off with his best friend Jake Dillinger. Jake Dillinger, a teen who is extremely popular, smart, and perfect in every way. Even if Jake would deny it and say that's false, he secretly knew that it was true. Rich and Jake have been friends ever since middle school. Rich loves hanging out with Jake they would do anything together. They would walk down the street save some money to go to the local café. They would have fun even if they weren't in the best condition at home, with family, money, food, or stuff like that. Yet, they made the best points of there lives with each other. Heck, they would always have sleep overs if one of them was scared or called for a hug due to a insistent or nightmare. The other would come and hug the male no matter what time it was, and would fall asleep together. Yet they would wake up and always say with a laugh "No homo". Yet some time Rich didn't like saying that. You might be thinking, what could go wrong with this beautiful friend ship? Well, Jake had other plans in mind.

Rich was walking down the streets he was going to hang out with Jake today. Time after time Rich just couldn't get enough from him. He loved his laugh, his hair, his walk, his looks, his eyes, god Rich could just go on and on about him. He grew feelings slowly after time for the other, he would sometimes drop hints or say it quietly. Maybe even confuses quietly if lucky. Yet, Jake would just shrug it off or didn't hear it at all for that matter. Rich reached Jakes house and softly knocked on the door. In a few seconds ten seconds at must, Jake came out with a faith smile "Richie hey man!" He proceeds giving Rich a Fist bump. Rich did it back and laugh "Jakey D. Hey long time no see buddy. You've been avoiding me a bit" he snickers a bit going inside, Jake following right behind. "Well you see man, I'm dating Christine so ya know gotta keep the chick happy duhhh...don't get jealous shortie" Jake only laugh after. Yet, Rich's heart broke the sound of glass shards it seemed like. Rich looks at Jake for a split second, then just laughed. A hallow laugh and smiled sadly looking down tears wanting to stand out in he's eyes. "Oh erm ya I didn't know..hehe...you two must be having fun dating and all" he fake wink fast, really doing it to try to get the tears away. It only made Jake laugh more and talk about Christine and him and what he thought.
Rich just nodded listening a bit yet all he could think was stupid questions. "Was I not good enough?...Was I not meant to be with him?....Why would he ever like boys?" all that and more would spin in he's head. Jake stopped and smiles looking at the smaller me patting him on the back softly. "Dude I gotta go you could stay if you want this is like your second home...just don't do anything stupid I'll be back...Don't eat all my snacks too!" Rich and Jake wave off to each other saying there goodbye, the short male watch the taller one leave, tears slipping down his eyes when Jake was far away. He closed the door with a thud his back slamming into it, crying slowly sliding down. "W-w-why n-not m-me" he cried quietly.

A month and a half has pass after that day. Rich wasn't the same usual self, he was going insane, his lover gone. Out of his reach, dancing with someone else. His Squip yelling at him to forget and dance, party, drink, get a girl, maybe smoke. It was a lot of pressure, he couldn't handle it anymore from his Squip. Snapping and fully losing it. He was so stressed out, he was going to people begging for some Red Mountain Dew to try to stop his Squip yet everyone thought he was crazy, some thought he was high, maybe a little tipsy. He gave up and his breathing quickened people screamed starting to leave from the look of Rich. The male looked at jake one last time running upstairs to a little room. It's a room, with a small window a closet one door, blue walls and a semi broken curtain. He search the room knowing this is where Jake keeps his weed and matches. Rich wasn't going to do anything dangerous per say maybe just watch the flame until it burns out like he had himself. That's what he did, he light the match up tears going down. He slowly started to sob watching it burn, and burn. He couldn't hear anything, it was as if he was underwater, his vision blurry.
Rich's body begins to shake, he could feel the Squip trying to take over and do 'right' and 'help him'. Soon Rich loses it, losing what control he had. He's eyes turn blue/green completely. The match in IT's hands now. Luckily, before anything could happen your handsome, perfect, strong, tall, boy shows up Jake Dillinger. He came just in time to tackle Rich or the Squip blowing the match out fast. Due to it being so quick, and the Squip not having enough time to completely stay in that form he left the body leaving a numb, broken, sad, tiny Rich in Jake's arms. His body looked so fragile, that anything could break this little one. "R-rich buddy! C-c-come on! Wake up! Y-you owe me it this time!" He begged shaking Rich a bit, trying to help him. Rich's eyes open yet it was a blur to him and he felt dizzy and drunk. "J...jake?" He manages to say "RICH OH THANK GOD!" Jake smiles hugging him tight glad to see he's ok. Rich sighs quietly feeling getting worse, and he sees doubles then slowly fours. "Jake....I love yo–" yet before rich could finish he's sentence he had passed out. Jake had tears prick into he's eyes. He holds him close "I..I love you too rich!" He says holding him tight.
Two Months Later
Rich was fine, he still had his Squip yet he learn to try forgetting and would drink lots of Mountain Dew Reds. Jake would always check up on him. Rich and Jake have become a thing secretly, Christine and Jake broke up. It might sound terrible but Rich was actually happy for that. That night will be a little blurry for Rich, but one hell a night for Jake.
