Tomoe x Mizuki

"H-how did you know?"

Mizuki then broke that awkward silence, "H-how did you know?"

Mizuki's cheeks were still red and he was looking down at the floor to avoid any eye contact.

Before Tomoe could give a good explaination Nanami walked in the room.
"Geez guys! I heard yall guys yelling from outside the shrine! What in the world are you two arguing about?"

Tomoe and Mizuki both just stared at Nanami.

"Are yall okay?"

Nanami just stood there but no one would answer anything so she just left the room.

"Well are you going to tell me how you know?" Asked Mizuki.

"Well.." Tomoe said actually kinda looking a bit nervous, "Remember that one time we argued because you would help me with the chores cause you were to busy playing flute?"

"Yeah.." Mizuki responded.

"Well I stayed up that same night so I could get rid of you. While everyone was asleep including yourself, I carried you out to the forest so when you woke up the next morning you would be completely lost."

Mizuki slowly starting putting all the pieces together and starting to realized what had happend.

"..But when I was about to leave you there by yourself , you woke up and, when you did you thought you were dreaming."

Mizuki , then remembered which 'dream' he was talking about.

"..Then after that you well..lets say after that you fell asleep in my arms so I decided to take you back to the shrine, so you wouldn't suspect anything."

Mizuki's heart dropped.

"Oh." Mizuki replyed.

"Well , that must've been awkward for you..sorry."

Mizuki, left the room and sat outside,
Onikiri happend to be there.

"Hey onikiri!"

"Hi Mizuki, why are you outside aren't you suppost to be washing the dishes?"

"Ugh." Mizuki replyed.

"Well I guess there is no convincing you." Onikiri said.

"Hey can I ask you a question?"
Mizuki asked.

"Yea sure!" Onikiri said.

"What would you do if someone you liked found out you liked them , and they are one of the most stuborn people on earth?" Mizuki said.

"How am I suppost to know? I'm just a shrine guard." Onikiri said.

"Well isn't this the Mikagay shrine! He was the god of marrige after all!" Mizuki said.

"Well I'm not mikage."

"Onikiri!" Nanami shouted from inside the shrine.

"Welp got to go Nanami is calling me."
Onikiri said in his cheery inoccent voice.

Onikiri went back inside to help Nanami.

Mizuki went back inside to grab a notebook and pen and went back outside and started to jot down his thoughts.

He wrote until it started to get dark then he fell asleep on the porch.

Tomoe needed to go get his broom real quick but it happend to be outside.
So when he opened the door he found Mizuki asleep there.

Tomoe decided to carry Mizuki and tuck him in his futon but as he carried him he noticed a notebook and pen falling out of his hands that then fell on the floor. He decided to get those once he came back to get the broom.

As Tomoe tucked Mizuki , he remembered about what happend today. Tomoe closed his eyes shut and slightly cringed, but after he opened his eyes he saw Mizuki's face again.

Something for him seemed diffrent about Mizuki's face.

Then Tomoe whispered in Mizuki's ear, " you are a cute little brat."

Then Tomoe got up and went to pick up the journal, pen , and his broom.
