Knock, knock, knock. There it was again. Did he not understand that she did not want to see him? Why didn't he just go away. Especially after what had happened at ZoSh. Jerk. She ignored the incessant knocking and focused on painting her nails. "Let him be," she thought, "thodi der mein khud hi chale jaayenge." She huffed in annoyance and continued ignoring him. She wouldn't open the door, no matter what.

His hand was tired now. He had been knocking continuously for the past 1 hour, and she hadn't even approached the door, let alone opened it. Noor came and offered him some water, which he took gratefully. Half an hour later, he was reduced to sitting on the floor outside her door. She had even refused to listen to Madhu, who had tried talking her into coming out of the room, telling her that she'd come out once Aditya went away. But Aditya Hooda was not one to give up. He would sit right there outside her door till she came out. If she was stubborn, he was one step further.

"beta, neeche aake khaana khaalo, 10 baj rahe hain raat ke, tumne shaam se kuch nahi khaaya hoga," Madhu tried to get Adi to move from the door. Maybe Zoya too would come out?

Aditya: "Aunty, main yahan se nahi hilne vala, jab tak Zoya darwaaza nahi kholti. Aur vaise bhi, aapki beti bahut zyaada ziddi ho rahi hai, vo bhi faaltu mein. Aapko Noor ne bataaya na, kya hua. Vo to biased point of view nahi tha. Aap batayiye, kaun sahi tha? Main ya vo?"

Madhu: "beta, tumne kuch galat nahi kiya, lekin---"

Aditya: "exactly aunty! Maine kuch galat nahi kiya, phir bhi aapki ye beti. ZOYA! Darwaaza kholo varna main todh dunga!"

Aditya banged the door in frustration, and Noor came running.

Noor: "Arre Adi shant ho jaayein. Aapko lag jaayegi."

Aditya: "Arre yaar tum apni behen ko kuch samjhao Noor. Tumne bhi to dekha na chal kya raha tha vahan. Mujhe thank you bolne ki jagah, ke maine isko bachaaya, ye mujhse hi ladh ke baithi hai. Akkal naam ki cheez to hai hi nahi iss ladki mein. Pata nahi Waseem Uncle aur Roshana Aunty kaise jhelte the isse."

By now Zoya had had enough. How dare he? It was all her fault?! He didn't even know what was going on there! His habit of assuming and over-reacting on every miniscule thing almost led to a mishap. And here he was, unconcerned and unaware of what actually had transpired.

Hold on a second, I'm sure all of you are confused as though what was going on. So, here's a little back-story to this situation. Zoya, Aditya, Noor and Madhu are currently in Zoya's flat in Mumbai. After the whole court-fiasco, Waseem and Roshana had gone back to their beautiful Home, while Noor and Zoya had stayed back. While the four of them, i.e. Zoya, Noor, Madhu and Mahi had stayed together in that house, Noor and Zoya had avoided and ignored Mahi, courtesy of the horrible things she had done against them, especially Zoya. Mahi too, had unfortunately been unable to see the error of her ways and being under Zoya in the office as well as having to live in the house that was owned by Zoya, Mahi had started getting irritated. Madhu too, now well aware of the way Mahi had manipulated her against Zoya, grew distant from her, showering her love on Zoya and Noor instead. This irked Mahi and her resentment towards Zoya came back full force. She had tried once again to get rid of Zoya by helping Rajveer escape and avoid the police.

Rajveer had formulated a sinister plan, which Mahi had been aware of, which had led to Zoya ending up in the hospital. Aditya had hunted down Rajveer, blasting with anger, and handed him over to the police, but not before beating the man black and blue. Rajveer was behind the bars, but there was no evidence against Mahi that incriminated her. Madhu had punished her in her own way, by throwing her out of the house and breaking all ties with Mahi. Where she was now, no one knew, and no one cared. Madhu sometimes felt upset that both of her kids had disgraced her, but Noor and Zoya both supported and cared for her, which made her thank the lord for being lucky enough to have the daughter-like-girls with her. So it was Madhu, Noor and Zoya living in the flat, with the frequent visitors the Hooda brothers, dropping in any time to check on their (unofficial) girls- "they were 3 women living alone, they had to keep dropping by to show the world that there were people who kept an eye," was both the brothers' logic (READ: excuse)- or to manaofy them (in the case of Adi and Zoya), which brings us to this situation here.
