Laura's POV
It was a warm July night. I just finished my shift at McDonalds. I was tired because I have been working all day. When I got home I saw my two roommates and best friends Rowan and Lucy.
"Hey guys." I said sitting down on the couch. The two were holding a piece of paper and they both has pained expressions on their faces.
"What's wrong?" I asked becoming worried.
"We're being evicted." Rowan said as Lucy showed me the page. I grabbed it out of her hands and began to read.
Eviction Notice
Due to the recent events of not paying rent Rowan Eastwood, Laura Southwoof and Lucy Morningwood are being evicted. Have all of your belongings out of the building by 8:00pm July 11, 2018.

I dropped the paper in disbelief. Crap it's July 9th.
"I can't believe J-Dot is kicking us out."
"I know it's horrible but we need to to start packing and looking for a new place." Lucy said getting up from her seat.
"I guess I'll look online for a place to rent." I said grabbing my computer. I logged on and opened my web browser going to Craigslist. I searched for cheap places near us. After about a half an hour I found something. There were 4 boys looking to rent out part of their house to 3 people. I showed Rowan and Lucy and they thought it was a great idea. I messaged them. After almost 15 minutes someone named Luke answered. We talked for a few minutes and we were supposed to meet tomorrow at noon to look at the house.
