Filipino Beatific Book Club [Status: Hiatus]

Rules and Mechanics

This book club aims to help our fellow writers to gain more reads and to improve their story. With this, we ( @Alyssa_in_wattland and @randomthingsbyme) decided to make a book club.

This book club would be a partnering system. Meaning, every Wednesday and Saturday we will be posting a set of pairings.

Rules:

1. Your book should At least have FIVE (5) chapters. Pero kung less than five ang meron ka at on-going ang work mo, pag umabot na lang po ng five ang parts ng work mo bago ka magjoin. Magiging unfair po kasi sa part niyo dahil kelangan mong basahin ang five chapters ng kapartner mo samantalang sya ay magabbasa lang ng less than five. Pero kung okay lang sayo yun, PM us.

2. Add this book to your reading list or library. Para po maupdate kayo pag may bagong pairings pag nagpost kami. This way, di na kayo mahihirapan.

3. Be helpful as you leave a comment. Do not just say "Your story is nice." Be helpful as much as possible. Yung comment niyo po ay dapat related sa story.

4. Do not be rude. Maging helpful po tayo pero 'wag po tayong manlait ng gawa ng iba. Pwede niyo pong ipoint out kung may mali pero wag nyo naman pong bigyan ng harsh comments na masakit para sa isang author. At ikaw naman pong author, pag may pinoint out na mali, wag mo naman dibdibin masyado. Make it as a CONSTRUCTIVE criticism NOT DESTRUCTIVE.

5. Read and comment on five parts of your partner's story. Tunay na basa po ah? Para naman po patas tayong lahat. Pwede po bang lumampas sa five? Kung nagustuhan mo ang story nya, pwedeng pwede. Iyan po ang isa sa mga goals natin dito sa club and magkaroon pa ng mga readers ang story ng members natin.

6. Voting is optional. Even though it is not required, if you think the story deserves a vote, be generous enough to vote for it. Pero kung gusto nyo po eh pwede nyong kausapin na lang ang kapartner niyo if willing silang makipagexchange ng votes with you.

7. Failure to follow these simple rules would give you a warning. Three allowable warnings lang po.

8. Following this account is optional. Meaning hindi po required ang pagfollow. Pero kung gusto niyo po, pwedeng pwede nyo po kami ifollow sa account na to or sa aming personal accounts. Super appreciated po yun! :)

9. Be friendly. Chat with the other members or samin. Hindi po kami nangangain.

10. Share this to your friends para rumami tayo. "The more, tme merrier" nga diba? Mas maraming members, edi mas maraming reads, friends and pairings ang magaganap. :)

FEATURED AUTHOR OF THE WEEK

There will be a featured author every batch of pairings. The featured author would be chosen by the moderators of the book club. All chapters of his/her work would be VOTED by the moderator.

All members of the book club has an equal chance of being the featured author for the week.

The featured author would be posted every Saturday. :) Except sa first pairing, sa third pairing pa po magkakaroon ng featured author.
