Afraid

I'm afraid of spiders

I'm afraid of what people think about me

I'm afraid of getting out of the line we all walk

I'm afraid of being myself around new people

I'm afraid of dressing in the way society wants me to dress

I'm afraid of being late to places I may have to attend

I'm afraid of my heart leading to the people that might be wrong for me

I'm afraid of letting my walls down

I'm afraid of letting my ego take control of my life

I'm afraid of letting my music define who I am as a person

I'm afraid of letting you in my life

I'm afraid of needles

I'm afraid of not doing well in my classes

I'm afraid to face adulthood

I'm afraid that I will never find the one

I'm afraid that I'm not good at anything

I'm afraid of new people I meet

I'm afraid to drive alone at night

I'm afraid that I won't make a decent runner

I'm afraid that I'm not a good athlete

I'm afraid of doing something stupid 

I'm afraid of perusing my own dreams

I'm afraid of doing what I want with my life

I'm afraid of many more things

but the one thing that I truly am

afraid of is

I'm afraid of falling in love with you.
