I unpack my bags after I've entered
my old house in Lauderhill Florida.

I look around at my surroundings and
let out a sigh of relief.

" Home Sweet Home " I say to myself.
I was glad to be home. Alabama was
fun while it lasted.

I text my mom letting her know I'm
safe and in town. She responds with
" welcome home raven "

I smile at her text and set my phone
on the kitchen counter.

I open the blinds and open the windows
so some fresh air could come in.

My phone rings.

" Hello ? " I say

" CLOUT " they reply.

I hung up as quick as possible.
Who the hell was that?

I let it go, and I go upstairs into my
bedroom.

She doesn't remember my voice.
I got her number from Elle, her best friend
who's married to Ski.

I put down my phone, and
go into the living room.

" Put my tazer down Ski "

He looked at me confused,
" What's Up YoungDaggerDick "

I laughed and shook my head
nothing.

He laughed back and then called Elle
downstairs.

" Did She Answer ? What'd she say?" Elle says while coming towards us.

" Nothing. Just Hello. And hung up " I said

" She didn't recognize your voice , she remembers you, I promise she talked about you every single day as kids and plus her home screen and lockscreen is you. I'll call her" she says

" No you don't have to, but thank you Elle " I reply and head into my room.

I plan on crying myself to sleep.
I'll go to her house tomorrow...

Is that too much ? Maybe she'll be upset
or uncomfortable.. I don't know.. am I thinking too much ?

I grab my phone and text her.
" Welcome Home Raven - Jahseh "

I had to let her know who I was
