Spencer's POV Chapter 10

I found out that I was pregnant. I didn't know whether to wait and tell Taylor or tell him when he gets back, I don't want him to be mad that I didn't tell him, or upset that I did, because maybe he doesn't want a baby. Well he's here so I better decide fast.

Taylor's POV

Hey Spence, I'm home.

Spencer: I'm in the bathroom, I'll be right out.

Okay.

Spencer: What would you think about having a baby?

Well definitely not right now, I mean I'm going to be in my 4th year of college. Eventually though.

Spencer: Okay, just a thought that came to mind. So how was Sammy's appointment?

It was good, everything's the same, they still have to wait a few more weeks to see. I'm going to go take a shower

Spencer: Okay.

Spencer's POV

I hope I threw that stuff away, he got back here faster than I had thought.

Taylor: Hey Spence, What's this doing in the bathroom?

Oh, That.

Taylor: Spence we promised we wouldn't have secrets, Just tell me.

Well, we were having such a good time last night that we forgot to use condoms and this happened.

Taylor: Well was it positive? Or negative?

It was positive. .

Taylor: Spence you should have told me! That's great news! Isn't it?

Yeah. I didn't think you would be happy, when we were talking about it you said you wouldn't want a baby right now.

Taylor: I shouldn't have said that. If I would have known you were pregnant I wouldn't have said it. I'm really excited and you should be too. Just forget about what I said.

So you're sure you okay with all of this?

Taylor: More than okay.

Well I have to go meet Emily, since you're done with class can you just check on Sammy every once and a while?

Taylor: Yeah.

Spencer's POV

Hey Em.

Emily: Hey, how've you been?

Good, I need to talk to you about so much.

Emily: Shoot.

Well for starters Taylor and I went on a date the other night, we've had a few dates, I'm not saying we are a thing, but we did something that caused something else..

Emily: Are you pregnant?

I didn't know how to tell you.

Emily: That's great! I'm happy for you. But is Taylor the right guy?

I don't know yet, he's the sweetest thing, but I don't know if I want to make that big of a commitment. And Sammy has stage 3 cancer, so it's hard, keeping the baby healthy, keeping Sammy healthy and keeping Taylor happy. It's a lot of stress right now.

Emily: Oh Spence, this must be hard. If you need absolutely anything just let me know!

Okay, Thanks Em.

On the way home I get a text from Taylor..

Taylor: Hey Spence, I took Sammy to the vets because he threw up a couple times and I didn't know what it was from, see you soon.

I went to the vets to talk to the doctor about Sammy, I found out that this is what happens when it starts to get worse and Sammy was my little baby. We had him since he was little and he's almost 3 and still so small. They don't know how long he has to live. Of course I started crying and Taylor hugged me tight. We took Sammy and went back to the dorm.

Taylor's POV

Hey Spence, I know this past month is hard for you, considering that you're pregnant and Sammy has stage 3 cancer. But I want you to know I'll be here for you whenever you need me to be and when you get annoyed with me I'll still be here for you.

Spencer: Thanks Taylor. 💋 Do you wan to watch a movie?

Yeah sure.

Spencer: Okay. Well you can come lay on my bed.
