I got up from the couch and quickly ran upstairs to my room. I stepped out onto the porch and climbed up the vines.

I walked over to the chimney and sat down, my back leaning against it.

I then watched the sunset.

you know, jack and you used to do this.

I know. I miss it.

he stopped because he hates you and loves Zach more. Zach is way better than you anyway.

shut up.

if i were Zach, i'd hate you too.

I closed my eyes and sighed, letting the mean thoughts slip away.

I opened my eyes only to let a tear swim down my cheek. It swam as if my face was a pool and it was having fun.

My cheeks were probably red, they always are when i cry.

I pulled my legs up to my chest, laying my head on my knees.

"Corbyn!!"

Someone had called my name, probably looking for me. i didn't move though.

"Corbyn?? Are you okay?" someone asked, sitting down beside him. i still didn't move, i sniffled.

"Corbs. Answer me," they whined.

i looked over at them to be met with Daniel.

"oh corbyn," daniel hugged me. i sobbed, leaning my head in his neck.

"what happened?" he asked.

"it's jack and zach. zach hates me. and hack wants me to get rid of our friendship," i muttered.

"oh," daniel spoke, backing away. "is that it?" he asked.

"danny, i like jack," i cried.

"oh my god, corbyn. why didn't you tell me??" he questioned. i shrugged, "i was scared!"

he hugged me again, and i sniffled. i hid my face in his shoulder.

he backed away, "i have an idea."

i looked in his eyes, he looked... hot? oh my gosh, what am i saying??

"fake relationship. me and you, date. then we will make jack jealous and want to date you," daniel smiled.

"you're kidding me," i spoke. he shook his head no.

"god," i whispered.

"so, we have to pretend to be a couple. that means kisses, holding hands, and cuddling! oh and dates," daniel smirked.

i blushed a deep red, as he leaned forward and kissed my forehead.

this is going to be good.
