Karmi and Hero🌹🌹Never knew

Stuck together

                            Karmi's  POV
I was pacing back and forth in front of my desk
"Yeah that works"
I got a surge of courage and walked out the door and towards Hero's lab it took everything i had not to turn around and go back to my own lab. Before I knew it I was at his door I took a deep breath and knocked Hero looked up and towards me he quickly gets up and opens the door
"Yes karmi"
"Um...I wanted to thank you for what you did and apologize for the way I acted and about the last thing we talked about I'm sorry I jumped to conclusions" i say
Hero doesn't say anything for a minute
"No worries karmi you got the wrong idea when I tried to become your friend"
I smile and I feel your cheeks burn (it's nothing) i think
"Ok well now that we're friends I'm glad we ended this on a high note thanks for understanding Hero"
(did Hero blush no it's probably nothing again) I think
"No problem karmi and see you around"
"Alright bye Hero"
"Bye karmi"
You hear your principal come on the speakers
"Attention all students there is a fire in lab 2a and in labs 2b and 4d in the west wing please stay away until we clear the area"
I feel my heart sink and a look of terror crawl an my face as I yell
"MY LAB 4D!!!!"
I start running and all of a sudden someone grabs my wrist and stops me
" Karmi you can't go principle's order"
You hear Hero say and you struggle while he pulls me away when we reach the cafeteria he lets go of me
"Karmi what were you thinking you could have been hurt or worse I made that mistake once but I'm not making it again" he exclaimed
"WHAT DID YOU THINK I WAS GOING TO CHECK ON MY LAB AND ALL THE WORK THAT WILL PROBABLY BE BURNED" I yell back and raise an eyebrow waiting his response
