The Dance

  Betty's P.O.V.
     I walked in, expecting to see Ronnie dancing in the middle of the room to an upbeat song. But when I looked closer, I saw she was simply leaning against the wall, tapping her foot. Waiting for me, I realized. Can I do it? Is this me and Veronica Lodge for real? A girl-girl couple? At a dance? I was still arguing in my head whether or not to go up to her. She probably forgot about you, I looked to my shoulder, expecting to see a little devil sitting there. Nope, just my mind. I can do it, I can do it, I - Veronica is walking towards me.

   Veronica's P.O.V.
Oh, there's Betty. I'm sure she's feeling a little bit nervous, but in all honesty I feel completely fine. I decided we should dance so I walked over to her and kissed her on the cheek.
I grabbed her hand, and her face changed quickly from startled/nervous into a mix of happy/confused. We started dancing and on the slow song we stopped abruptly. Then Betty looked me in the eyes, put her hands on my waist, and we slow danced together. It felt nice, and I knew that Betty is the one for me. Kevin was dancing with a boy named Moose, and was motioning to me for us to kiss. That's when I saw Archie.

Betty's P.O.V.
Archie looked at me and then looked at Veronica, with a disgusted look on his face. Once I saw what he meant, I swiftly pulled V into a full kiss, and Archie Andrews, the boy I once asked to marry me, the kid I'd been friends with forever, the one who'd kissed me that day on the playground back in 3rd grade, walked away, flipping us off. Veronica pulled away from me and ran up to him. She grabbed the back of his suit, turned him around, and

punched

him

in

the

face.

Cheryl's P.O.V.

As I begged Principal Weatherbee to let moi be the lucky girl to call out the name of the King and Queen, I was up on stage (wearing things I bought at Gucci) and I picked up the names on the card. I smiled and raised my voice to holler out the names of the new Queen and Queen.

Toni's P.O.V.
As I walked up to the stage, my heart rang in my ears. Me and Cheryl? My Choni heart! When I got up there, my girlfriend kissed me on the cheek, and placed a crown on her head, then on mine. Principal Weatherbee walked up on the stage and congratulated us, obviously looking very confused. I made a mental note to laugh at this fact when I got back to my trailer.

Beronica Texting :

Betty: It was cool how Cheryl and Toni were crowned, huh, V?

Veronica: Definitely. It was very inspirational, though I still would've voted for us 😉.

Veronica: B? You still awake?

Veronica: B?

Veronica: B? B? ELIZABETH COOPER!!!!

Betty: LOL, V. I took a little power nap. Good Night, 😴.

Veronica: Good Night 😘💤😴🌙.

Veronica: I love you, Betty Cooper...

Betty: I love you, Veronica Lodge...
