Harry woke up with a start due to movements above his chest. When he opened his eyes, there was Meredith, sniffing his face. He then realize that fell asleep on the couch.
"Morning Merbear" he softly mumbled, lifting her up as he shifts from laying on the couch to sitting on it. He gently ran his hand through her soft fur and Meredith purred.
Meredith always loved him, something Taylor gets jealous of as the cat is not really a "people person."
He smiled but suddenly the events of yesterday comes back to him in flashes.
The delayed flight. Flowers. Empty home. Frantic calls. Taylor...
His anxiety emerged once again.
After the call with Gemma yesterday, he followed what she said and called her friends. All of them said the same thing. She's not in your flat? I'm sorry Harry, I don't know where Taylor is.
He also called Kevin, Taylor's assigned bodyguard but he got nothing from him as well. He's in Suffolk as Taylor had him take the whole week off.
