Lunch with BTS

“Yoongi!”

Guess I didn’t walk fast enough.

I quickly plastered a fake smile on my face.

“H-hey Jin. H-how's it going?” I asked, nervously laughing after I did.

I don’t think he appreciated that.

“I’ve been waiting for you in the lunchroom for 10 minutes Yoongi,” he said, looking slightly frustrated and angry at me.

This made me shrink down right where I was standing and start to worry.

Does Jin hate me now?

Is he going to be like the rest of BTS?

Did I ruin everyt-

While I was worrying, I saw Jin softening his gaze. He obviously saw me worrying and realised he was overreacting.

“Yoongi, its okay. I was overreacting, but now that I found you we can all have lunch together!”

Phew, he isn’t mad at me, wait what.

“W-wait, ‘we all’?”

“Yup! You, me, and . . . BTS. Come on guys!”

I didn’t believe Jin for a minute, until they all slowly came into the music room looking at me with disgust, but what else was new. I probably wouldn’t want to hang out with myself either.

Once everyone was inside the room, we all just stood there not looking at each other and also waiting for Jin to say something.

Namjoon was the first to say something.

“So are we just going to stand here or . . ?”

Jin then realised he had been zoning out.

“Oh! Yes, so everyone needs to introduce themselves.”

Everyone looked at Jin annoyed.

“But Jin hyung, we already know each other.”

Jin looked at him annoyed as well.

“Yes, we all do, but Yoongi doesn't and he is working with us in music so you need to introduce yourselves’”Jin finished with a sickly sweet smile that said “Do it or I kill you”.

So they all started to introduce themselves.

“RM”

“V or Taehyung”

“Jhope or Hoseok”

“Jimin”

“Jungkook”

After they introduced themselves, it became silent and awkward again.

“Look, we introduced ourselves, can we go now?

We were planning on working on the song ideas during lunch,” RM said, looking annoyed.

Jin just smiled at him.

“Well we can now, because everyone in the group is here. And besides,” he turned to face me, “ I thought I heard the piano.”

At this, the ready of BTS laughed.

“Do you really think he can play the piano Jin?”

I mean, I have been playing for 5 years, so . . .

Jon turned to look at me again.

“That was you I heard, right.”

I softly nodded while looking at the ground.

“Um, yeah. I've been playing for, um, five years now. And it's a . . . Um . . . song I'm working on.”

At this, I saw the members of BTS look at me in shock, but then RM started to walk towards me.

“Why are you writing a song when I told you that we would do all of the work. I mean, it's not like it would be any good, so why are you even bothering?”

I started to fidget with my hands.

“Well. . .um, it's just a hobby of mine, and I've been producing for about four years now so, um yeah.”

Jin then spoke up.

“Four years?!? Guys, he know what he is doing, so let's just let him help!”

Hoseok just rolled his eyes.

“Please, I'm not letting him help unroll we can hear one of his so called ‘songs’.”

Jin just smiled and walked over and put his hand on my shoulder.

“Then let's have a listen. What song are you going to play Yoongs?”

I thought for a second, then looked up.

“ Give It to Me.”
