Life had been chaotic for the past two years of Lee Min Ho as a CEO for the whole department store management of apperal, accessories and cosmetics not to add the hospitals and the 7 star hotels owned by his father internationally as well as locally were under his administration. With the end of university life, he had to shift from his comfort zone of life to take over the responsibilities of his father's business.
He never thought life would be hectic but rather expected the exterior pomp and glamour: saluting, bowing, the respect, money he would get and spend, days he would enjoy, paid sick leaves, one after the other gushed over and flooded his mind. A few weeks as a CEO dashed his entire expectations when he understood it was more of a solitary confinement, slow suffocation with hell of a job to do. He revolved in his chair as he knew with no doubts that his post will be transferred to his cousin Bu Yong if the stocks collapsed.
She was an angel of a woman. It was she who transformed his life to the man he is now. He loved her a great deal even now but circumstances never supported him to confess it.
It hurt him so much when one day she came to him saying, ''I'm going to get engaged to Sam Dong.'' His vision blurred as he hugged her tightly. She was too happy to notice the silent tears of her cousin. He so wished that she was his. He knew it was wrong but his heart said otherwise. He realised that it was not because of her that he clung on to that seat, but it was her husband-to-be guy that made him do that. He didn't want the post shifting to Sam Dong. His rage, fury, envy, anger and hurt kept wheeling him. He knew there was no way out.
A sudden knock brought him from his reverie. His secratary and best friend, So Yi Jung was his open diary. He poured what ever pain he had into it and in return he was showered with pats, advices and consolations. He was a magic that could transform his tears to smiles. His best friend was the best thing that ever happened to him.
"I've got the schedule for the day", he remarked as a smile tugged along his lips.
The CEO furrowed his brows and gazed up to meet his hazel eyes. He then nodded curtly to go on.
"Well, in another few minutes, we are going in for the lunch-break. He exclaimed with a laugh.
"Mr. So, what do I look like to you?
"Its obvious, isnt it?",after pretending to think as he tapped his chin with his index finger.
"What is so obvious?"
"That you look like a half starved morris.... "as he started to hold his stomach to suppress the laughter that had already exploded.
Min Ho glared up at his secrectary as a playful punch followed to his chest.
He looked too innocent as he pouted. "Leave it, man
but the lunch break was part of the schedule, I swear." He extended his hand to Min Ho as they joined hands to go, he reminded the other, "Im the CEO and never ever......." his voice trailed and as he glanced around to see, something was wrong. Not with his friend but the other staff who were quizzically staring.Min Ho strayed his eyes to where they were looking. His hand was interwined with his pal's and he looked equally shocked. Pulling away their hands, he palmed his face knowing it wouldn't be a wonder if it came in Times Korea that he was a gay who was in love with his own secratary. Journalists only needed a scratch to weave up nonsense, not to add, these rumours travel fast too, he knew.
They walked faster towards the usual hotel they went in for lunch. It was like a get away from work. They ordered the food and when the waiter left, they looked at each other. Yi Jung's ears were tinged with crimson as the other's cheeks burned red. The embarrassment tugged their lips to a maniacal laughter.

Aafiya Aafaaq was a hard worker, determined to achieve the goal she sets and finally here she was on the corridors of the number one hospital in Korea: the Seoul Lee National Hospital. Seven months had gone by since she had joined this hospital to practice as a psychiatrist and a counselor. She had made worth her mother's efforts and siblings' support. She felt proud of herself and her family. The first time she entered here, she was stupified to see its gigantic size, the tiled floor and the glass walls. She couldn't even think of imagining these in Srilanka. The very possibility made her want to laugh.
Her past had been invaded by dark memories which ate her alive every time she thought of it. The only consolation left for her was Allah. She knew he would never leave her in pain. He is always there at times of need. She would cry her thoughts out to the One in whose hand her soul is and then eventually it was peace.
Drowned in her own worries, she bumped herself into something. Lifting her head up high she met a pair of eyes piercing her with a cold glare.
He was a man in his early fifty's and his icy eyes scanned me from top to bottom and vice versa when his face twitched with hate at her azure blue shawl chastely draped around her head pinning the end with a pearly brooch. It was her mother's present for acing the exams. Further she was clad in royal pink top that extended to her knees and a denim that matched the shawl colour. An awkward silence reigned until she broke the silence by "mian hamnida (Im sorry)!"
She said as she stepped aside to make way for this man in black suit to pass. He had an aura of superiority and authority. His sculptured face gave no expression except a nod as he left with a couple of black clad men close at his heels.Reaching her office, she smiled at her senior doctor, Mrs. Go Hye Me. It was duty time, so they grabbed their coats to go when Aafiya's senior answered her phone.
"Annyeonghaseyo (hello),'' she said as her face cast a smile. A few seconds passed when the same face distorted as a word escaped her lips, "MUEOSEULYO!! (WHAT!!)." Finally the call ended with a quick "ne, ihae haesseoyo (yes, I understand)." she frowned as she hastened to quick her pace but then she turned to face Aafiya. "Its an emergency and you will have to manage the job single handed for today. Im sorry.
"Its fine, what's wrong?" Aafiya could never handle curiosities.
The doctor shook her head. " It's the CEO's secret," she said as she left behind a confused Aafiya.

Point to ponder: "The true weight of a human being is measured by piety and character. Beauty is nothing if he has a rotten attitude and personality."Guys, i know, expressing emotions are lacking on the part of the characters. Because this story runs in the 3rd eye perspective.
But if you want the protoganist's perspective, feel free to say.
In the end, its your veiws, comments and votes that will make my day.
