Summer love

The first day is a lazy day

When we got to the lake house it was almost 5:00 PM. We were unpacking as Kiara pulled up we all unpacked before laying down on the couch "I'm tired" I said as my arms ache from carrying everything

"Want to go out and eat tonight?" Maddie asked we all agreed then hoped in Kiara's car and headed to a local restaurant. When we came back we all went to sleep since all of us were too tired to do anything else. 

The next morning I was woken up by something being thrown at me and my bed bouncing 

"Wake up Ava!!" I heard Maddie yell at me before assaulting me with a pillow I had 

"Mad I'm trying to sleep," I said covering my head with my hands blocking her hitting me

"No you can't go to sleep you have to get up!" Maddie yelled still hitting me with the pillow

"Ava I'm cooking breakfast" I heard Kiara say immediately I threw Maddie off my bed causing her to squeal 

"Come on" she whined walking into the kitchen

"You got to do better Mads," I said 

"You know she loves food Maddie," Kiara said putting some bacon on a plate 

"Yea but I thought she should get up since it is the first day of summer," Maddie said sitting down 

"Just because its summer doesn't mean I will wake up, I get to sleep longer" I added 

"Stop your talking and eat guys," Kiara told us before all three of us dug into the food resulting in no leftovers. 

"I'm going to go outside and start getting a tan you in Kiara?" Maddie asked 

"Yep," she said getting up and headed to her room 

"Ava if you don't come out in 30 minutes I'm going to drag your butt out and lock the house" Maddie threatened 

"I know that's why I actually am coming out," I said 

"Really?!" she exclaimed I nodded "YAY!" she announced hugging me before running into her room closing the door 'I swear she is so weird' I thought walking into my room. 

I came outside with it being sunny with a few wisps of clouds in the sky and 95 degrees. I walked over to a chair that was sitting on the pier I put on my sunglasses then sat down and started reading

"You're reading?" Maddie questioned I nodded not moving my eyes away "I knew there was a reason why you decided to come outside" she said 

"Yeah so you wouldn't bug me about being inside and I can finally get a tan without being bored" I added turning the page Maddie groaned "Whatever," she said putting her earbuds in and sunglasses on. I kept reading my book before I was hit with water "Hey!" I exclaimed turning my head toward where the water came from 

"You should take a break sometime and get out of the sun," Kiara said holding a water gun "You jerk," I said putting down my book and running toward her as Maddie passed me a gun before I squirted it at Kiara getting her soaked in water

"AHH!" she squealed before turning around and spraying me back soon it turned into an all-out water fight with water guns, water balloons and more. As the heat started to get to us we stopped and headed inside for a snack, later I headed back outside for my book to see that some people next door were moving in heading back inside I told the girls. 

"Maybe they are some hot boys," Maddie said

"I doubt it, it's probably some family from out of town," I said the house next door was a huge home that this dude rents out to people. 

"Whoever it is I hope they stay over there and don't come over here" Kiara commented

"I don't think they would want anything to do with a couple of teenager girls" Maddie commented I shrugged and headed to my room with a tub of ice cream

"That ice cream better make it back out here!" Maddie suggested 

"No promises," I said before closing the door.
