The pain I felt only grew, like bamboo, taking over a small field of flowers. We don't have much time. A voice echoed through my mind as my speed picked up. My legs ached at the feeling, and burned like fire and oil.
My energy is running low. My chest squeezed as I heaved put breathes of air, and pulling in as much as I could. They are going to die unless u can be there to free them. I pushes my legs harder as I saw the dim light of fire lit on torches. The light became bright as I came closer and soon I came to a hult. I looked around at all the soldiers there is so many. The voice spoke again as the king stepped down from his post and up to my friends. They struggled against the bar they were tied to. "Stop your struggling, you won't get out. But I shall spare one a yeas lives if you choose to marry me." His British accent came out as he lifted the chin of one of my female friends. "Jaxson will come find you.. And when he does, it won't be pretty." Her hoarse voice came out as she spat onto his hand. He grimaced at the wetness and smirked at her.

"What can one mesly boy do when the whole perimeter is surrounded by guards?" He spoke out as he stepped back to look at his men. My friends only grinned as my body waltzed through the crowd, and to them. "Your in denial, just want to act all brave in fro-." He is cut off as I hold my sword to his neck.

"Uh.. Sir Jaxson.. What a pleasure for you to join us." He spoke out nervously, and held his hands up to seize his guards. I pulled the knife away from his neck and walked up to my friends. Cutting them free they each give me heartfelt hugs. I cut out Amber last before she quickly jumps into my arms. She tucks her head into the nape of my neck and she squeezes my body against hers. Amber was never one to show much love and affection but when she did, she made it worth while. I slowly get out of my shocked trance and hug Amber back. "I knew you would come, I just knew.." She whispered onto my skin as her body heaved up, the flood gates crumbling. "They... Said.. You would never come.. B-because you too much of a coward.." Tears began to fall as I let her cry onto my shoulder. I heaved her body into my arms as she wrapped her legs around my waist, to her her body up. Walking past the guards, up the hill, I set Amber down as I wrap my hand around her waist. I step foward as my friends cross their arms over their chest.  Holding my sword up to the sky, I glance down at the crowd under me.

"You will remember this day not only by how I single handedly got my friends back to safety, but that you will not see the end of the four Musketeers!"
