Ally
“Ally it’s simple. All I have to do is call Josh!” Meredith shouted with a wild smile smeared across her face. “He’ll be able to confirm if you married Liam or not.”
“But that’s just it; I don’t want to know Meredith!” I yelled back at her. “I can just take this ring off, and pretend like none of this happened. After I leave Vegas, I’ll leave this accidental marriage, any drunken mistakes that I don’t remember, and the rest of this shit behind with all of the casinos and prostitutes.”
“It’s not that easy.” She shook her head, smile slightly fading away now. “It’s a legal document Ally! It won’t just disappear!”
“But what if it’s not him? God, What if I never find this guy?” I groaned, completely exasperated. “How could I be so stupid? There are thousands of people in this city and I will probably never find him, and then what? What happens when I want to get married in a few years? I won’t be able to because this asshole decides to marry me then bail the next morning. God, how selfish of him!” I ranted.
“Ally, I promise you we’re gonna find him.” Hannah spoke in her soothing and calm voice as she played with my hair.
We continued to discuss my current situation over lunch, before Hannah and Meredith somehow convinced me to lay out by the pool with them for a few hours. At first I opposed, but later decided that it would be the perfect chance to scope out all of the men at the hotel and maybe find one who looked like they had just as much regret swirling through their veins as I did.
“Ally!” Meredith’s voice boomed in my right ear and snapped me out of my silent search for my potential husband.
“What?”
“I said, it’s almost five and the guys should be landing in London within the next hour.”
“And?”
“We’ll be able to call Josh and ask him about your husband soon! Aren’t you excited?” Meredith smiled at me.
“Meredith, there’s an eight hour time difference. It’ll be too late if I call tonight, besides you don’t know if it’s him or not!”
“Trust me, Ally it’s him!” She smiled at me before plopping back down on her lounge chair and picking up her daiquiri from the side table.
Liam
“Mate! Mate!” I heard someone screaming while being shook awake.
“What?” I groaned.
“Have you decided what you’re going to do about this whole marriage thing yet? We’re landing soon, ya know.”
“I was hoping it was all just a bad dream, to be honest.” I sighed while rubbing my hands over my tired eyes.
“Niall came up with a pretty good idea while you were sleeping, isn’t that right mate?” Zayn spoke.
“Oh yeah, we’re gonna fly back to Vegas after the next couple of shows are over, then you can divorce her and move on, it’s as simple as that!” My Irish friend beamed.
“Oh well that sounds like a great plan!” Louis shouted sarcastically. “But to do that we’re going to need at least two days off and that won’t happen until two weeks from now. She’ll be gone by then!”
“Oh, I didn’t think about that.” He sighed.
“No shit!” Louis spat. “This whole situation is shit! What the hell were you thinking Payno?”
“I wasn’t.” I grumbled.
“Yeah, no shit.” He spat again.
“Louis, that’s enough.” Harry finally spoke. “Look, we all know that Liam made a mistake, but it’s not like he can just go back and erase it. So, let’s just try to help him.”
