The weekend passed by pretty fast for David, who had gone off and spent most of his time with Derek trying to learn his abilities. Derek had turned another kid, Isaac Lahey. Overall Derek said that he wanted at least two more betas for the fight with the hunters, and it seemed like he had an idea who. Though he did say that he wasn't going to turn anyone else until after the full moon, which happened to be tomorrow night.

To say David was nervous was an understatement, anytime he dwelled on the fact that he would lose control and possibly harm someone he'd start to shift. He didn't want to hurt anyone, but thankfully Derek had promised him that he wouldn't be out in the open on the full moon. He'd be in the train station, which Derek seemed to live in temporally.

Right now he was in the train station, doing his best to learn control. That was interrupted when Isaac came barging in screaming for Derek. David could hear his fellow pack mates rapid heart beat pounding in his chest.

"Derek!" He cried out rushing into the train carriage.
Derek stepped forwards towards his panicking beta and asked, "What's wrong?"
"It's... it's my dad! I... I think he's dead!" Isaac exclaimed.
"What did you do," Derek growled
"That's the thing!" Isaac stated, "it wasn't me."

"Show me your eyes," Derek ordered firmly.
"What?" Isaac asked.
"I said show me your eyes!" Derek repeated flashing his eyes red at his beta. In response Isaacs eyes changed into a glowing yellow gold.
"Do you know who did it?" David asked.
"No... I have no clue," Isaac cried.

David felt cold when he heard the news, did the hunters find out Derek was creating betas. Were they tracking down their family's to kill them? His heart beat started to increase and he felt himself slipping as his eyes flashed yellow and his claws started to turn.

Derek placed his hand firmly on David's shoulder, he didn't know why or how but he instantly relaxed.
"What are we going to do?" Isaac asked, "My dads dead, killed by someone or something and the full moons tomorrow night! If they find the body the cops are going to be all over me!"

"Wait why?" David asked confused, "Like I get why they will ask you questions but why would they be terrorizing you!?"
"Because his dead is abusive. They will search the house and find what they did to him," Derek announced.

David's eyes met with Isaac's and he could see the fear in his eyes. His dad abused him, and now someone or something had killed him.

"Okay... you two need to keep a close eye on each other at school in the morning. I'll be close by to make sure neither of you lose control in the middle of class. After school come straight here, it's going to be a rough night."

School, well school was hell.

Derek had told David to keep a close eye on Isaac but that wasn't an option anymore. Just like Isaac predicted the cops came looking for him and now we're asking his neighbors about any strange sightings.

To make matters worse his heartbeat was crazy, he could hear lectures from every teacher around the school. Focusing wasn't an option, every single sense was heightened higher than what the bite added.

When David thought about what would be happening to him throughout the day he didn't imagine it feeling like this. He always thought it would be like a cliche werewolf movie. He'd just lose control when the moon was at its peak and then run around crazily till the night was over. Oh how terribly he had been wrong. He didn't feel very well, at all.

The sound of the bell ringing nearly caused David to cripple and curl onto the floor. It was deafening, but so was the loud noise of students. He did his best to walk to his next class, and focus on something else besides all the noises he could hear. Until his hearing did focus, on a conversation he least expected to hear. Down the hall from him stood Jackson Whittemore and his ex girlfriend Lydia Martin.

Lydia seemed to be back in school and healthy, and Jackson seemed to be well Jackson. A dick as usual. He didn't catch the whole conversation but what he did hear made him freeze in confusion.

"I'll give you one piece of advice however," Jackson stated coldly, "I wouldn't leave your house tonight." Jackson then started to walk past a confused Lydia.

"Wait What's that supposed to mean? Why? What's tonight?!" Lydia asked Jackson.

Without turning around Jackson replied with a coy smile placed on his face, "Tonight's the full moon."

David's mind was flooded with questions, did Jackson know about werewolves? Did he know about Derek's pack? Did he know about Scott? Hell was he a werewolf?!
David didn't have a chance to consider any of these possibilities as his shoulder was suddenly grabbed and he was thrown into the men's bathroom. David was alarmed at first thinking maybe the hunters had found him. After all Allison was their daughter it wouldn't be to hard for her to catch him off guard and attack him. Especially when he was struggling to even walk straight. Those worries vanished though when he saw his attacker was Scott.

"You said yes didn't you!" Scott accused, "I told you to say no!"

David didn't know why, but anger suddenly flooded through his veins and he stood up angrily in front of Scott.

"Why because you don't want me to be like you?!" David snarled, "Be the famous Scott McCall! The boy who randomly gets good at lacrosse gains fame and attention! Miraculously gets over his severe asthma!"

"No! Because the bite isn't what Derek says it is! Derek isn't who Derek says he is!" Scott exclaimed, "All those murders a few weeks ago were because of a rouge alpha werewolf! Which was Derek's uncle by the way who he killed! Did he even tell you about the hunters!?"

"Yes he told me about the hunters and I don't care!"

"Did he tell you that they are just killing werewolves even if they haven't killed anyone? How could you say yes?!" Scott asked.

"I did it because I'm tired of being a no one!" David exclaimed, "I sit alone at lunch everyday! I spend my weekends alone in my room with my alcoholic father! And my only two friends just up out of the blue left me to deal with my depression when I needed them the most!"

"You pushed us away," Scott argued

"Well what the hell did you think would happen Scott!? I was in a dark place! Do you see these!?" David growled pulling up his sleeves to reveal his scars that littered his arm, "You didn't even try to help. All you do is just pretend like you did your best. But you haven't even asked how I've been in a year, you haven't reached out at all. I don't expect you to anyways, you're Scott McCall! You're popular now! You have a new crowd and new friends. I accepted the bite because I want to have friends again! Because my friends ditched me when I needed them the most."

David then pushed Scott away and walked out the bathroom furious. He didn't know if it was the full moon that caused his anger to spark and for him to go off on Scott but he didn't care. For some reason going off on Scott made him feel good inside, like he finally got something off his chest. He just hoped he was doing the right thing by accepting the bite.

Sorry for the wait I've been very busy.
