Saint didn't expect to have any customers that late into the night.
He was proven wrong nonetheless. The minute his eyelids became like lead was when he heard the bell signaling the door being open.
"Welcome, customer," he said monotone, though he was relieved that the intrusion caused sleep to leave his side. Saint sighed, rubbing his eyes. Forget sleep. He was so bored.
A sudden noise caught his attention and he looked to the right, where the customer had quickly sped to.
The customer - a girl (Saint could tell from the long, kinda messy black hair falling on her shoulders) - was currently raiding the ramen noodles, picking out almost everything from the shelf. There was a hood over her head, so Saint couldn't really make out her face. Not that it mattered anyway. After a couple seconds of struggling, her petite figure brought an armload of cup ramen and regular bowl ramen to the counter.
Saint, with his infamous blank face, quickly scanned each item before telling the customer her total. But even Saint, the boy who once smiled, couldn't hide his amusement. Saint had secretly eyed her as he scanned the items.
