Close the closer door?
No, I don't think you want to do that.
A hand from under the bed may pull you to the floor.
Shut your eyes and try to sleep?
No, I'll sneak out of my shadows
And make you weep.
You can't get rid of me,
I'll always be there,
Call your parents? They won't see.
I'll be watching, in wait,
Till the lights go off,
Then I'll creep out of the closet when it gets late,
To feast on your fear,
And poison your dreams,
Corrupt them and twist them, all while I sneer.
You may start to whisper, you may start to scream,
When I start to whisper,
With smile agleam.
I whisper the things you don't want to hear,
I whisper when friends,
And family aren't near.
I torment your mind, and speed up your breath,
I make your heart race with darkness and death.
I live in the darkness and feed on your fear.
I live in your closet but am always near.
