Eleanor:Black and White

Prologue

The double doors opened with a creak sound and a dark figure walked in the throne room his black combat boots tapped softly on the stony floor his cloak towering behind him, his hood covering half of his face only showing his pink full lips, he reached closer to the king of the gods 'Zeus' and bowed down slightly

"My King why did you summon me here" His voice was husky but it was cold and that was enough to send a chill down your spine even Zeus was never used to it, he stood up from his throne chair and moved closer to where the figure was

"I need you to keep an eye on someone Thanatos" Zeus said his voice emanating power, he looked strong but he was more than 4000 years old but he looked like a 40 years old man, Thanatos removed his hood and ran a hand through his dark hair and smirked the king shook his head in disbelief but a small smile tugged on his lips

"Will there be chocking people and breaking some bones?" Thanatos asked and Zeus' eyes widened in shock and he shook his head profusely and sat down on his chair rubbing his fingers on his temple then he spoke

"I need you to protect someone and no killing or any other violence you enjoy Thanatos"

Thanatos looked at the king as if he was deranged he chuckled

"Tsk, Tsk, my king i am the god of death not the god of prote-"

He was cut off by the kings growl and the king glared at Thanatos he is supposed to follow my orders but Thanatos is Thanatos he doesn't listen to anything

"You will do as i say"

"You look like shit my king"

Zeus clenched his jaw and looked at the god of death he looked at him more like glared at him and contemplating how to punish him

"Speak to me like that again i promise I'll have your tongue and hang it as an artefact"

Thanatos laughed in disbelief he knew Zeus too well he couldn't do what he was stating but Thanatos did the odds and bowed down and started to leave he couldn't protect someone when all he thought was killing them he started walking faster towards the door then seven words stopped him and changed his decision faster than the traffic lights as he reached to catch the door handle

"It is the girl in your dreams"

Thanatos gripped the handle so tight that his knuckles turned white his purple eyes that could make an onion cry turned a shade darker of course he knew the mortal girl he has been dreaming for months her faint scream, her petrified face which was a blur to him, her sweet melodic voice that called to him for his help, a part of him wanted to finally meet the girl in his dreams but a part of him wanted to strangle her and tie her and beat her until she turns into pulp but he was confused at how things were and how Zeus knew about his dreams then everything hit him like a pan in the head

'Hecate'

He did tell her about his dreams i guess she couldn't keep it to herself , i bet even Hades knows, women with their tongues.

"She's my daughter"

Thanatos was angry even more and without turning to look at Zeus he asked his voice dripping with anger and loathe

"Why and how?"

Zeus knew what the young god wanted to know and he sat straight on his chair staring at the back of death even though he was above him still a part of him was scared of Thanatos he knew he could take down the kingdom if he wanted to and he knew Thanatos loathed him for what he did in the past

"I met her mother 20 years ago 'Amelia' and we were together for 2 years i couldn't control myself and a part of me was very fond of her one night we drank and got wasted and we did 'it' we created a half mortal and why i chose you because i believe you have some connection maybe her powers are calling to you"

Suddenly the door handle fell down, Thanatos' hands were shaking with anger he turned to get a clear look at Zeus and he released a dark chuckle, Zeus didn't move he just stared at Thanatos then he spoke

"I'll give you a reward if you do what i've ordered you, so Thanatos the son of Erebus i hereby order you to protect my daughter Eleanor"

Something swelled in Thanatos' chest the name Eleanor was very soothing and in utter dismay he loved the name and the meaning of it was melodious 'The shining light' he shook his head and looked at Zeus and he stated coldly

"I want my mother out of that cage of yours when all this is over Zeus"

With that said he walked to the door with the wave of his hand the door opened leaving a dumbfounded Zeus, the guards bowed down but he paid no heed to them the only thought occupying his thoughts was Eleanor! Eleanor! Eleanor, he opened a portal which was very dark and surrounded with gold sparks but an energy inform of wind oozed out of it he got in and disappeared leaving gold sparks behind.

Oh my baby is confused I'll give you some icecream for the confusion...

Hiyaa *hides behind a couch* i hope you liked the short chapter and this is my first time writing here i hope you liked it and sorry for any grammar error but I'll make it better sometime in the future
