One morning, I woke up to hear the annoying buzzing alarm ring. My mother knocked on the door to make sure I was awake. It was my first day of school and I had to be there around 8:00am to get my class schedule. I grabbed my keys and headed out to the car. Stopping by Starbucks, on my way to school, ordering a vanilla bean, as I was waiting at the window, as usual Jaden began flirting with me. I had to admit he was cute and just my type.
"Do you have plans this weekend" Jaden said
"No why?" I smiled
"Do you want to go out with me on Saturday?" Jaden asked
"What do you have in mind?" I asked
"If you say yes, then you will find out", he said as she giggled
"I'd love to" she said as he passed her a drink
"Great how's saturday?" he asked
"Sounds good, here's my number" she said as she handed him a napkin with her number scribbled on it.
Waving goodbye as she drove off toward school.
As I walked in the school doors, all eyes were on me. I was the center of attention. Making my way to the office, I bumped into my best friend Zaria. We both made our way to the office. Taking a glance at my schedule before bumping into Trey, I fell to the ground as my papers flew. Trey helped me up and asked if I was okay. We looked into each others eyes and smiled.
"Hi Brianna" Trey said
"Hey Trey" I said
"So whats your schedule looking like? Do we have any classes together?" Trey asked
"Here" I said as I handed him my schedule
"We have homeroom, gym, algebra and Speech and debate together" Trey said
"Well then lets not be late" I said as I linked arms with him and dragged him to homeroom.
"Your late! both of you" Mr. Olveera said as he looked up from his clip board "you must be Brianna Simmons and Trey Young, let this be your first and last warning, next time you'll either get a lunch detention or a after school detention"
"Please take a seat" Mr. Olveera said as we nodded and made our way to a seat.
"Hey Brianna, how was your summer?" Saron asked as I sat next to Saron with Trey on the other side.
"Good, how about yours?" I asked
"It was good" she said.
"Mines was good too" Trey said "thanks for asking"
We all started laughing
"Seems we're starting the year off badly, Miss Simmons and Mr.Young and you Miss Bryant I'd suggest you not follow the same foot steps of your friends" Mr. Olveera said as he passed out the questions, we needed to answer in the next twenty minutes.
