It's Vanessa's first day of high school. She puts on her white button up top, black skirt, white gold striped socks and black sneakers. Pretty nice for a school uniform She thought to herself. She grabbed her red scarf that represents honor students and ties it around her neck.

"Vanessa! Taehyung's here!" Her single mom exclaims. Leila Kang, divorced to John Yun is literally the definition from rags to riches. At 18, she moved to Korea with nothing but now at 35, she has her own makeup company. Working almost everyday, Vanessa grew up relying on no one but herself.

"Coming!!" Vanessa grabs her bag and runs out the door. "Love you mom!!"

"Ready?" Taehyung ask. Taehyung, Vanessa's boyfriend, walks with Vanessa to school everyday. They known each other since elementary school and been best friends ever since. Recently, they just started dating.

Vanessa nods her head as they entered their first day of high school. Phoenix High School, not the best school, but it'll work.

"Heyyy!! You ready?" Queena comes up to Vanessa, pulling her long black hair.

"Are you??" Vanessa says, tugging her orange long hair. They both laugh it off, linked arms and started walking to their first class.

"Here here here!" Eva screeches across the room. Eva, the youngest of the trio, brunette long hair and never swears.

Across the room, there's Jimin. Black hair, 4 ear piercings, and small hands. Next to him, there's Taehyung aka Vanessa's boyfriend. Brown hair, also has 4 ear piercings and a super genius.

There you have it, the squad. Known as the popular group, they were ready to start high school.

Vanessa walks home after a successful day of school. She walks up to the door and unlocks it. The first thing she sees is a tiny boy.

"MOOOOM!!" Vanessa screams. "YOU HOME??"

"Hey sweetie, how was school?" Leila asks.

"Pretty good??" Vanessa puts all her things on the table, not taking her eyes off that boy. "Are you not going to introduce me to him or..."

"He can do it himself." The boy shyly looks away.

"Hi, my name is Vanessa, what's yours?" Vanessa stuck out her hand to the little boy.

"Jungkook." He whispers. His voice was pretty high pitched. Vanessa nods awkwardly.

"Umm I'm going to go to my room." Vanessa gathers her things and leave.

"Jungkook, don't be shy." Leila walks up to him. "Poor child, what have you done to your grandma?"

"Nothing." He mutters.

"Well, I'm not like your grandma. You know your mother loves you right?"

"Then why didn't she stop grandma from sending me here?" Jungkook asks. Leila laughs.

"Sweet child, sending you here is a good thing." Jungkook gives her a puzzle look.

"My grandma told me I'm just like my father. I would never rob my family, steal all their money, run away, then DIE!" Jungkook yells.

"Honey, you are nothing like your father. I told your mother he's a dangerous guy, but I guess it's dicks before chicks." Leila shrugs her shoulders. Leila's eccentric personality shocks Jungkook. Maybe staying here wouldn't be so bad after all.

"Were you two really good friends?" Jungkook asks.

"If we weren't, your ass wouldn't be here. V,we're eating out tonight!!!"

"OKAY!!" Vanessa exclaims from upstairs.

Arriving at the restaurant, Leila forced Vanessa and Jungkook to talk. The two actually have a lot in common.

Vanessa and Jungkook became fast friends, they talked all night.

The next day, Vanessa introduced all her friends to Jeon Jungkook, the new addition to their squad. Again, they all became fast friends.

Life has a lot of unexpected situations, many obstacles and a lot of decision making. With many betrayals, misunderstandings and unplanned events, the group of high school students face their journey of life.
