CHAPTER TWO

~Naomi~

"So...Naomi... Do you like this school?" Luissa asked while hooking an arm around mine and walked into the school office to get my schedule.

"Uhmm... Maybe? I don't know Luissa. I just entered here."I shrugged.

She nodded.

"Hi there. Can I help you?" The person asked me.

"Angela just give her, her school schedule. Name, Evangeline Naomi Summer."Luissa smiled at her.

The person which I guess her name was Angela went inside some room. We waited for her and suddenly a guy appear from the room. He walked out with a folder in his hand.

"Cameron!!"Luissa shouted.

He smiled and walked towards us. He handed me to folder.

"There's the schedule and information about the school, map and everything else. Your locker is beside Luissa." He didn't smile at me at all. He just gave the folder and started explaining what's in the folder.

"Oh and Angela was busy which is why she told me to hand this out when I was about to go out of the office."He continued.

"Thanks Cameron. And this is Naomi, my best friend since elementary school. Naomi, this is Cameron, my best friend." Luissa introduced both of us.

We had an eye contact and just nodded at each other. Wait... Did she say best friend?

"I'll see you in class later Luissa." He walked out of the office first.

"He's your best friend?"I frowned.

She nodded happily.

"Yes babe he is. BEST FRIEND. Why?"She studied me carefully.

I shook my head.

"Nothing. I didn't know you're so close with guys. Last time, you hated every guys and now-"

"People change Naomi. And that was when I was a kid so it's different. Anyway sorry about Cameron. I know he doesn't even act friendly just now. He's like that. But once you get to know him, everything is good." She spoke.

"Oh by the way we'll be having lunch together so don't forget."I nodded.

I sighed.

"Luissa, what the heck? I thought you say 'we'?" I glared at her while pointing to both of us.

Luissa snorted.

"Oh by 'we' I meant you join us, Cameron, Alex, Stacey and me. Chill Naomi. They won't bite." She nudged me.

"Fine..." I sighed and followed Luissa behind.

I looked at the group that we'll be joining and I don't know why but I felt nervous. The guy Cameron looks like he hate me ever since We met at the office. The guy beside Cameron looks like a flirt. And the girl looks like she's gonna eat you if you get near her. As We reached the table, the three of them stare at me. Luissa went to sit beside the girl.

"Sorry guys Naomi will be joining us from now on since I decided to so please be kind towards her. She's fragile." Luissa spoke as she took some food from the girl's plate.

"Aren't you gonna sit?" Cameron said.

I just looked at him shocked. He talk to me. Wow. His tone wasn't harsh at all. He stare at me curiously.

"Err... Yeah..."I quickly sat down and bit my bottom lip. I swear if I could turn back time I would. This is really awkward. I don't even know any of them except Luissa and Luissa didn't bother talked to me. She was busy talking to Stacey.
