Red oak
The story of courage and trust

Prologue

Well it all began when I was born. I had sunlight streaming in my eyes and wishing to be back in the dark. That's why I like the night better then day, with all the night animals and the moon luna raises each night. Luna was like a mother to be, when my real mother died seconds after I awoke luna took me in her arms nursing me back to health. Anyway I'm Red Oak and this is the story of my life.

Chapter 1

I was as black a midnight. My coat silvery back and my mane and tail a mix of pink and orange. Apparently I was a very special pony, born as a alicorn, I was able to walk and run at birth. I was born in the middle of the everfree forest, among he timber wolves. Ponies and timber wolves have never found true friendship with each other so basically I was kinda attacked when I was there. The timber wolves attacked me, I ran and as I ran my flawy sunset forelock pulled back revealing my horn. I remember to skid of the wolves and a howl. Then millions of howls answer and I could feel there paws running along he ground....the vibration was so intense for a small filly like me!

They surrounded me! Bowing at me! I felt special..... Every timber wolf in the everfree forest was here, Bowng like I'm the queen. The timber wolves took me deeper into the forest and took me into there town. There were meat bones and meat everywhere! And leafs which they slept on. I was a little scared. I can remember feeling so...well... Brave! Me, Red Oak, was queen of the timber wolves!
I lived with the timber wolves for a while. They respected me completely and homered me with food.

But one glistening night, when the wolves were asleep, a dark shadow poured over the forest. When I did wake up the shadow was ahead of me standing tall and proud! Her horn glow a river blue and massive feathery wings tucked up against her wavy dark blue mane.

"Come little child, I take thee away" and I was boasted up upon her warm back and galloped into the depths of the forest.
