Chapter 3

I slowly opened my eyes. Slowly seeing a blurry figure standing, I opened my eyes and my vision cleared. Ahead of me was that nighttime blue mare. I looked closer and adjusted my ears, I could hear crying. As I was very young I hadn't developed my full speech, hearing, and seeing, so it was hard to hear this pony crying. I stumbled off the cold bench and walked up to the blue mare. She didn't notice me until I stuck my small, tiny head in her hoofs. She wiped the tears from her ears and smiled at me. ........silence.......... But then she suddenly burst into a rage of sobbing, picking me up and cuddling me. She said softly, "oh red oak, why do you have to have it? Why can't I keep you?" Hugging me tighter I got more confused. Have it? Keep me? I yawned and bubbled. Suddenly I felt a huge muscle tense against my skin. The blue mare stood up and lifted me above her head! "Your coming with me! Your going ta be my little red oak!", smiling she placed me on her back and started walking. I don't care what Tia says about you and your disease, I'm going to keep you cause now, I'm your mummy and I'm going to take care of you!" Laughing she started walking towards the exit of the cold room. Hey! You never got my name! I'm Luna! Princess of the night, and the white alicorn you saw, she's my big sister! Her names Tia! But everyone calls her Celestia. Cause you know....... Pause......silence.....anyway let's get to my room before Tia comes! Laughing, I babbled in excitement.
