The Hogwarts Express

Hey just a reminder that I wrote this part and the one after it before I went to advanced english so bear with me please.

Lily was thinking about if she would become the girl Prefect for Gryffindor. She thought for sure Remus would get Prefect with her, and in their Seventh Year they would become the heads, but that was in two years. She'd have plenty of time to think about that, so she started thinking about her friends Marlene McKinnion, Alice Fortescue, Dorcas Meadowes, and Mary Macdonald and how they have been best friends since they met on the Hogwarts Express. Speaking of which, Lily looked at the clock and realized that it was 10:30 am when the train left at exactly 11:00 am. In a hurry, she packed the last thing she needed to and left to go to Platform 9 3/4.

Lily went to go put her trunk in her mother's car. As soon as she did that, Mrs. Evans came out. "Oh, Lily, it seems only yesterday you got your letter, and now you're a perfect." Mrs. Evans said. "Mum, I know it's hard for you to understand, but I'm not a perfect; I'm a prefect." Lily said. "Whatever, darling, just get in." Her mother said.

Lily and her mother pulled up at King Cross Station and as Lily got out, she said, "See you at Christmas, Mum. Love you, bye." "Bye, Lily. Love you!" Mrs. Evans said as she pulled away.

Lily ran through platforms 9 and 10 and it revealed a train with the sign that read 'Platform 9 3/4 Hogwarts Express'. Lily saw Dorcas and Marlene walk up towards her. "Hey!" She said "Hey Lily did you hear?" Marlene said. "Hear what?" Lily asked. "Alice and Frank?" Dorcas said. "What about Alice and Frank?" Lily asked then she realized "Really Alice has a boyfriend and I don't." Marlene said. "Marlene Siriusly." Dorcas said. "Dorcas really." Marlene said. "Yes." Dorcas said. "And Lily is with James." She added Lily's eyes got real big "Dorcas that will never ever happen." Lily said. "NO." She added "Whatever Lily." Dorcas said. "All aboard the Hogwarts Express last chance to get on the train." The conductor said "Well I want to go to Hogwarts so I'm going to get on the train." Lily said as Marlene and Dorcas started following her.

Lily,Marlene,and Dorcas started looking for Alice and Frank when they finally found them in a compartment with the door close, so the girls got in the compartment with them. "Hey guys." Alice said very cheerful. "Hey Alice, how was your summer?" Marlene asked. "Great, how was yours?" "Mine was great too." Marlene said the next 3 hours of the train ride was complete silence untill the conductor said "We are now at Hogwarts." "Well I got to go to the prefects meeting bye everyone." Lily said

Lily met up with Remus to talk about being prefects "Yeah that's true about James he is a toerag." Remus said to Lily as they got done laughing the head girl came up to them "Hi you must be Remus and Lily the prefects for Gryffindor, hi I'm Katie head girl and I will be helping you two because I am a Gryffindor myself, and because Dumbledore asked me too." Katie said "So first things first you have your own bathroom for all the prefects and you can give students detention if it's reasonable, aslo you have to patrol the corridors in case of a student out of their common room, and the other rules will be given at the meeting, so welcome to privileges a normal student wouldn't get." Katie said
