Chapter 2
She comes off as strong,but maybe she fell asleep crying. She acts like nothing is wrong but maybe she's just really good at lying.
Leigh-Anne
I woke up,got up from bed. Took a shower.
And guess what? I automatically went straight to the kitchen. "I'm freaking starving!" I said. I started to eat. Ohmyyy. How I miss this food! This is not that bad,the food is delicious. "Hinay hinay lang,apo." I heard lolo say. "Opo." I replied,chuckling.
I walked out of the kitchen as I've finished eating. I went outside the house. The weather. It was refreshing. Even so,I thought about my Dad. Flashbacks were visible in my mind.
*Flashback*
3 years ago...
"Little Leigh Anne wants food!" The little girl said. The little girl who was 7 that time.
"But baby,we will wait for your mom. She will be preparing lunch for us." The man said. He was 28 that time.
"Okay." The little girl pouted.
They walked. Tinignan nila ang lugar.
"Habulin mo nga ako,Leia!" Paghahamon ng Daddy ni Leia sa kanya.
"I will do that if you promise me that I'll be eating after I chase you." Little Leigh Anne said,pouting.
"Ang takaw talaga! Sige,sige." Her dad said,chuckling.
And she did. Nahabol ni Leigh ang Daddy niya. Para sa pagkain.
- End of Flashback -
Sa mismong lugar na tinitignan ko nangyari yun. Ang batang ako. I wanted to cry,but I can't. Seeing a devious boy walking towards you. Not a chance. So,I just smirked.
"What the hell are you doing here,Espanto?" I asked. He never replied,instead he went straight to the kitchen where my grandfather is.
"Lo,what is he doing here?" I asked.
"He'll be touring you,there are many changes in the place just so you know." Grandpa said.
"NO!" I said,disagreeing his statement.
"No buts,Leia. He already agreed." Grandpa said.
"But were of the same age! We might be lost!" I said.
Darren stayed still,not saying anything. But "Don't underestimate me,Vasquez. I know everything about this place." He said.
"What the hell,Espanto? Why are you agreeing with Grandpa? That's so not a great idea." I said.
"Darren agreed. You can't do anything about it. Just have fun. I'm outta here." Grandpa said.
"How am I supposed to have fun with uh,him?" I said,pointing at him.
"Let's go." He said,not minding what I've said a while ago.
"Uh,fine!" I said stomping my feet while I was following him. Labag nanaman sa kalooban ko.
"So,this is it. The people you can see there are the people who were hired by your grandfather,Tito Carl. He hired them a month after you left to preserve the place." He explained.
"As if I will be lost here. I was here for 5 years,Mr. Espanto. Just so you know." I said sarcastically and nagmake face pa ko. Why the hell should I know about this if I already knew this?
"Yeah right. 5 years? I think mawawala ka pa rin dito,cause you know what? 5 years ka mang nandito. Sa magdadalawang taon namang nakalipas,pilit mo namang kinalilimutan 'tong lugar na 'to." He said. With that,he walked out.
I sighed. He somewhat made a point there. Right. I followed him. "Sorry." I muttered,bowing my head.
"Right. Be that sarcastic again,and I'll leave you here! Right here!" He said. Did I just said sorry to him and now he's acting like a jerk? What the hell! Kung hindi lang ako talaga nagsorry! Makakalbo ko 'tong lalaking 'to. Aish!
"Fine." I said in a bored tone. *yawn*
"So,nabagok ka na ba at natuto kang magsorry?" What the freaking hell? How did he know that I am not saying "sorry" to anyone? That sucks!
"Hay nako,Leilei." Sabi niya at nauna ng maglakad.
I was left dumbfounded. Leilei? What the hell! How can I be so stupid? Darn it!
"Renren?" I shouted. He was Renren,huh.
"Finally." He said as he stopped walking.
"What the hell,ikaw ba talaga yan? Sa pagkakaalam ko si Leilei ang maldita at mabait si Renren. Ikaw ata ang nabagok?" I said,checking him out. Mamaya inoonse lang ako neto,masapak ko 'to!
"Di ka parin nagbabago,Leilei. Maldita ka pa rin. At anong milagro nga pala at natutunan mo ang salitang 'sorry'?" He said making air quotes.
"Wala,at ang kilala kong Renren mabait. Nasaan na siya? Ibalik mo nga!" Sabi ko at inalog-alog ko siya.
"What the hell,Leigh Anne!" He shouted,much to his annoyance.
"Hahahaha! Whatever,Dee!" Sabi ko.
"Shut up,Elle." He said.
We continued walking. I wasn't lost or anything but I tried to study the place. Tama si Dee maraming nagbago dito. But the ambiance of the place,it's still here. That was the thing that will never change I must say. Pumikit-pikit ako. Haaaay *yawn*
"Dee,balik na tayo!" Sabi ko inaantok na ko! Yehet~
"Sige." He answered.
And that's how the day ended. I can't believe that so many things can happen in one day. Well,expect the unexpected.
A/N: So how's Chapter 2? I've been writing this since I totally forgot but the 1st Version of this was erased and it annoyed the hell out of me that's why it took so long to update again! I'm so ley-zeyy! But hey! Darren didn't win. Still,he's the champion for me! Till next update xoxo
