Park Rin was a successful CEO of one of the biggest companies in Korea. Her company was spilt in two - a publishing company and a finance company. Her assistant, Lee Taemin, knew everything about her. He had to, in order to continue being her assistant.
Rin needed her things quickly. Her demands and commands needed to be done quickly or the whole 100 floors of the company would be hearing her screams and they would be suffering from her rampage.
"There's no way you know everything about her," Minho, a friend who worked at the company, told Taemin.
Taemin shook his head as he hurriedly scribbled down words onto a notepad. "I have to."
Taemin got up, grabbing a pen, binder, notepad, and a cup of coffee, and walked down the short corridor to reach Rin's office.
"What's her favorite food?" Minho called out.
"Macaroni and cheese with bread crumbs!" Taemin shouted before entering her office.
Rin smiled. "Hey, Taemin."
"Hello, Miss Park. I have your coffee," he said as he set it down on her desk. "Your salon appointment is at 3:00pm, but you have an emergency meeting at 2:00pm."
Rin groaned. "Is there any way you could move my appointment to 4:00? Knowing the members of the board, they could take up more than the one hour slot."
Taemin nodded as he scribbled more things on his notepad. "Done. Oh - and your sister called. She wanted to know if you were still coming to her son's 9th birthday party."
Rin sucked on the inside of her cheek and nodded. "Well, what am I doing on that day?"
"Right, right, sorry. The party starts at noon, but you have a deadline due at 2pm for the factories article. You also have a dinner meeting with Mr. Oh at 6:30pm at the Hope World restaurant in Busan. You'd have to leave early to beat traffic and make it on time."
Rin sighed. "I can just work late the night before the party," she replied.
Taemin sucked in his breath. "Well, actually, you had me make you an appointment with the masseuse the night before so you could sleep easily after your appointment with them."
Rin grunted. "It's okay, I'll figure it out. Just tell my sister I can go."
Taemin nodded before briskly walking out the office.
"Oh - Taemin, wait."
"Yes!" he shouted as he walked back in.
Rin bit her tongue. "Could you actually bring me a glass of wine?"
"Yes, yes, right away."
Taemin breathed heavily as he walked back to his small cubicle. Minho was still there.
"Her favorite drink?" Minho asked.
Taemin chuckled. "Red wine."
