Knowing you can do something is so different to believing you can. If you know you can then you just do it with slight pleasure and you don't want to excel. But believing you can makes you want to excel and do better. Believing is a big part of achieving. To achieve you have to believe. You have to believe in yourself. You have to believe in your team. Your coaches or teachers. My inspiration what Jamie Peacock. He played for Leeds Rhinos, number 10. He started playing there in 2005 and retired in 2015. He was an inspiration to many. He is a legend.
You need an inspiration. Like I said mine was Jamie peacock. You need to think to yourself that you want to have the reputation they had. You want to inspire others. But while following in their footsteps you have to find yourself and still be yourself. You want to be better than them, but not meant in a malicious way. You still want them to be great but you want to be better.
People don't have to inspire you it can be anything. A photograph, a memory, for someone, a poem, a book, a short story (like this one 😉😂.) it can be a song or just as little as one word. Inspiration is one of the best possible things. It makes you have a goal. A place to reach. So for me my inspiration is a person but also the try line is mine. When you put the ball down on it, it's special. It gets you closer to winning. When you see the score board change more adrenaline runs though you. Then when you get it through the posts you feel victorious. When the kicker misses you still cheer them on and you still feel like you can win it.
When the opposite team scores on the try, your gut sinks and you feel disappointed. But you hold your head up high and keep you team still filled with confidence. You feel your gut sink more if they get it through the posts. But it's okay you just shake it off. It makes you want to put more effort in, it makes you want to win more and touch that try line again. It doesn't have to be you to touch the try line to make you feel good, it can be anyone on your team, you still feel great. It's one of the best feelings in the world. It's great.
When you win you feel like your dream is getting bigger. You feel like you have achieved. You feel amazing. At that moment time you feel like everything has fallen into place. You feel like you picked that perfect career. The buzz that runs through you is so amazing. The atmosphere makes you so happy. When you hear the crowd cheer and shout it makes you feel even better than what you already do when you see the score board. Your team mates have the biggest grin on there faces, from cheek to cheek. Each and every person has played there part, they have made and impact. It's not a one man game. It's a 13 man game.
