Chapter 8~ Dance Under the Rainbow

Two months later, the girls and the entire Losers Club were ready for Calpurnia's concert which is Finn's band. Finn's heart was pounding. He was going to perform the song he made for Jack. Jack and the girls sat together, Sophia and Wyatt sat next to each other, and everyone else sat in a group. Finn was on his third song where he sang his hit song called "City Boy". Leila and Sydney sang along the whole time since they knew all the words. Finn took a deep breath.

"This next song goes out to the love of my life," Finn looked at Jack in the audience. He wore a personalized pink Calpurnia t-shirt that Finn made just for him. The girls looked at Jack.

"Around 2 years ago I met the most beautiful person in the world. Through those years we've had our ups and downs but we always stick together no matter what. I wanted to show that through this song so I hope that you like it. It's called Dance Under the Rainbow" Finn smiled as everyone cheered in the audience. He began playing a slow classical guitar.

"Have you ever had a knight in shining armour,

He was wearing pink and I was wearing blue,

So let's dance under the rainbow 'cause I love you,

Yes let's dance under the rainbow 'cause I love you."

The rest of the lyrics were just about how much Finn loved Jack but Jack's favourite line was:

"You're as curvy as a shrimp but I still love you"

As Finn sang it really got to Jack's heart so he began to cry. He tried to hold it in but it just poured out of his eyes. Finn finished the song and everyone yelled and cheered.

"Thank you so much beautiful for making my life perfect. Hope you have the best birthday ever" Finn blew a kiss towards Jack, "Come on up here" Finn gestured for Jack to come up. Jack ran up the stairs and almost knocked Finn down with a hug.

"I love you so much" Jack whispered.

"I love you more" Finn smiled and hugged him tighter. Everyone awwwed in the crowd. Jack pulled away but still looked at Finn in the eyes.

"I don't know if this is appropriate on stage but" Jack leaned in and kissed Finn in front of everyone. Leila and Sydney clapped with joy. Everyone screamed along, some yelling "Fack is real!". Jack leaned Finn back into it, then realising they were probably in front of millions of people since people were probably filming it. Jack pulled away. Finn bit his lip.

"You can't just do that on stage, in front of my mom!" Finn smiled.

"You know you liked it" Jack whispered back. Finn rolled his eyes and grabbed Jack's hand.

"Happy Birthday buddy" Finn hugged Jack one last time. Jack left the stage and Finn continued with his concert. At the end Finn made one last remark.

"Oh ya! Thank you to two beautiful girls that helped us defeat the evil two months ago. I really love you guys so thank you so much" Finn said. The girls screamed a little but had lost their fangirlyness since they met Finn.

That night Jack and Finn slept in the same sleeping bag (don't worry you pervs, they're only teenagers). They hugged each other to sleep that night.

"Thank you so much Finn" Jack whispered.

"For what?" Finn asked.

"The song. It was beautiful" Jack smiled. Finn looked at Jack in the eyes.

"You're adorable" Finn pinched Jack's cheeks (not those cheeks you pervs).

"No I'm not, you are" Finn and Jack begun to argue again about who was the cutest.

"Fine, it's settled. You are the cutest" Finn said. Jack shook his head.

"If you say so" he smiled. Finn played with Jack's hair.

"Goodnight shrimp" Finn smiled.

"Goodnight Macnamara" Jack kissed Finn's cheek and they dozed of to sleep.

The next morning Finn was up before Jack.

"Jack. Wake up" Finn said quietly. Jack's eyelids fluttered open.

"Happy 15th birthday" Finn smiled. Jack smiled back.

"Thanks" Jack wanted to go back to sleep but Finn wanted him up. They both walked to Starbucks together again.

"Now that you're old, you should get a coffee" Finn said.

"I'm not old" Jack complained. Finn rolled his eyes.

"Could I get two coffees" Finn asked the barista. She nodded with a big smile on her face. Jack hit Finn's arm.

"Finn!" Jack yelled to him. Finn grabbed Jack in a hug.

"You're having coffee and that's that" Finn said.

"Whatever" Jack was always relieved by Finn's hugs. He couldn't help it. The barista handed them their cups with a sly smirk. They paid and sat near the window.

"They didn't ask for our name but alright" Jack said. Finn chuckled as he looked at the cup.

"Look" Finn smiled and turned the cup around. It said Fack♡. The boys looked at the barista who winked at them. They smirked.

"We should keep the cups then" Finn said. Jack nodded and sipped the coffee. He normally hated coffee but Finn wanted him to have it so it seemed more enjoyable. Jack checked his phone and saw Finn posted for his birthday. It was a Flipagram of all the photos they took together since they started dating. The caption said:

Happy Birthday to the absolute love of my life. Jack, you have changed my life and it was definitely for the better. I love you is an understatement. You make my days happy even when you're grumpy. Just seeing your face is enough to make my day perfect. So have a great time being 15 my curvy shrimp. My beautiful princess wearing pink. Happy birthday beautiful ❤❤❤🎂 @jackdgrazer

Jack held his heart.

"Finn, this is beautiful" Jack said.

"Just like you" Finn smiled. Jack looked at him in the eyes.

"You're literally the best boyfriend ever" Jack said genuinely.

"Second best" Finn said.

"Let's not argue over who's the best boyfriend okay. It's you and that's that" Jack smiled. Finn rolled his eyes and held Jack's hands.

"Okay, I'm not going to wait anymore. You guys are literally the cutest couple ever" the barista said.

"Thanks" Jack and Finn said in unison. The barista put her thumbs up and went back to cleaning the blenders. Jack and Finn looked at each other.

"Have I ever told you I love you?" Finn asked him.

"Um in your song" Jack laughed, "have I ever told you that I love you?" he asked.

"Nope" Finn said.

"Well I love you" Jack smiled.

"I love you too" Finn said.
