Jungkook woke up to the sound of his wake up alarm blasting off. He groaned as he slammed it shut and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He slowly rolled off his bed and opened the curtains. Unlike Taehyung, Jungkook had a good view from his apartment so he tends to stand at his window every morning just soaking in the view of Seoul.

Jungkook made his way to his kitchen and prepared some simple toast to start his day. He made himself a cup of tea before eating and enjoying the morning sun and view at home. After Jungkook had finished his breakfast he walked to his wardrobe to find some clothes for the day and that was when he remembered the events that took place the day before and how he had made plans with Taehyung. Oh shit. Oh shit shit shit shit shit. Jungkook quickly checked the time on his phone and freaked out when he saw that it was almost 11am. Man, I really need to speed up my morning routine. He quickly picked out some stylish clothes, did his hair in record time and dashed out the door.

Jungkook decided not to waste time waiting for the elevator and sprinted down the staircase instead. He ran into the lobby looking around and hoping that Taehyung was a patient person and had waited for him. To his disappointment, the tall, blonde haired man was nowhere to be seen. Jungkook sighed as he slowly walked out the door and turned the corner but to his delight, luck was on his side that day.

Through the window of the little cafe, Mr. Coffee, Jungkook caught sight of Taehyung sitting on a stool chatting happily with a tall brown haired man. Deep down Jungkook felt a pinch of jealousy seeing the sight of the two men talking but pushed the feeling away and walked towards the coffee shop.

Once inside, he beelined towards Taehyung.

"Um hello, how can I help you?"

The tall man spoke up first. Taehyung wasn't aware that Jungkook was standing behind him and whipped his head around when he saw Jin talking to someone passed his shoulder.

"Oh Jungkook. Um s-sorry about the plans. I-i thought you left without me," Taehyung said, looking down at the floor.

Taehyung had woken up particularly earlier than usual since he made plans with Jungkook and decided to make a good impression. He was ready and walking down to the lobby by 8am. Taehyung was overwhelmed with emotions feeling both excitement but fear at the same time. He was so happy that he had finally made an acquaintance in so long but was absolutely terrified that Jungkook had just played a joke on him and would turn his back on him. Slowly after waiting for almost an hour, Taehyung's fear became reality and by 10am he had walked into Jin's coffee shop a miserable mess on the verge of tears. Jin, being so protective and motherly towards Taehyung, dropped everything to aid Taehyung. He made some fresh hot tea and sat down with him to talk. Before long the two were chatting away, all worries gone.

"God no please don't apologise. It's all my fault. I woke up late and me being so disorganised, I forgot that I made plans with you and by the time I realised, I rushed to get ready but when I went down to the lobby, I couldn't find you and then I lost all hope and the-"

"Woah slow down. I-it's ok. I-i just thought you um left because I was too boring last night or something. I-i'm sorry," Taehyung said chuckling at first but then reverted back to looking at the oh-so-interesting ground.

"Hey I said not to apologise," Jungkook smiled at Taehyung. Taehyung looked up to see Jungkook smiling his bunny-toothed smile and couldn't help but also smile a bit himself.

"Well well well, then why don't you two love-birds go out today and have fun. Hm?" Jin said looking between the two men in front of him. Taehyung and Jungkook both stared blankly at Jin for what he just said.
