Bre's POV

"What was that about?" Zach asked, playing with my hair as we sat on the couch and I let out a sigh, pushing his hand away.
All the girls looked at me, waiting for me to explain to Zach and the other boys.
"I.. Uhm... I.." I couldn't do this. There was no way I could tell them. I just couldn't do it. I couldn't.
"We're vampires. Oh well. You hate us and it's more of a reason to want to leave, right?" Amelia asks, rolling her eyes.
"I don't believe you." Daniel says. I snap my head towards him and hiss at him, showing my fangs.
"Calm down. They're here so we can save their lives. Not kill them." "I believe you now." Daniel squeaks and hides behind Zach.
"Why are you hiding behind me and not like Jonah or something?" Zach asks. "Because she won't suck all the blood from your body now will she Zach?"
"I'm pretty sure that's what 'turn him, Breanna' means, Daniel! Which, by the way, is what you're gonna do, right?" He turns to me and I sigh, looking down.
"I don't want to." I mutter under my breath and the girls in the room sigh and I roll my eyes again.
"What will he do if you don't 'turn me?'" He asks, I look down at the floor and mutter something under my breath. "What?" He asks.
"He'll probably kill me." "Aren't you already dead?" Jonah asks and I narrow my eyes at him. "Do you want to become a midnight snack?" I hiss.
"Hey!" Morgan says, stepping in front of him. "I mean.. I'm gonna go over there now." I laugh at her and she flips me off.
"Do it." He states and my eyes widen. "What? You're insane!" I yell and he shakes his head. "I don't want you to die.. Again."
"Well I don't want you to die either!" I grab his arm and he flinches away. "Are you scared of me?" I whisper the last part.
"Of course I'm not! It's just, I have a birthmark on my arm that burns whenever anyone touches it. But it didn't burn when you touched it."
My eyes widen. "Is it in the shape of a heart?" He nods and I scream. "You poor soul." Christina says, patting him on the head.
"Yeah. I feel for you. She's not an easy one to work with." Samantha says. "She's insane too." Amelia adds and I glare at her.
"What are they talking about?" Zach asks. "Do it! I can't watch! But I must watch." Morgan says.
I huff, taking his arm and extending it, seeing the birthmark-looking shape of a heart rest on his arm. "This may hurt a little. Or a lot."
I place my hand upon his arm and sigh. "Pour toujours." I whisper. I quickly take my hand off of it and watch the mark glow. He hisses in pain and I squeeze my eyes shut.
There's a burning sensation in my arm and I squeeze my eyes shut tighter. After the pain is finally over I look at my arm and see a Z written on it and Zach's has a B.
"Well. Now would be a good time to throw Corbyn in the pool like I promised earlier. Let's go, Corbyn."
"What was that?" Zach asked, rubbing his arm. "Oh that? That was nothing." I mumble. "That was something!" Amelia shouts. "Shut up!" I yell back.
"Why am I the one getting thrown in the pool? Throw Daniel in the pool."
