Chapter 1- The After Shock

Jessica's POV

I still couldn't get my head around on what was happening as everything was happening so fast. We are currently on our way to hospital. Everyone is still under shock after Justin spilled the news.

Flashback
Justin dropped his phone and looked pale as hell.
"Justin are you okay?" Asked Alfredo as he stood up.
"Justin?" Everyone started repeating his name and he didn't answer.
"Selena" he whispered and I felt my racing. Selena?
Of course selena and Justin used to date but I never knew what happened to her as we all know Justin was obsessed with her.
"What's with Selena?" Asked Chaz.
"She woke up" whispered Justin.
Everyone gasped and looked shocked. It seemed like everyone knew what happened to her.

"Let's go and see her" said Katie as she pulled justin towards the door.
I didn't know how to react and I felt someone pull me with them. I looked up to see Austin smiling at me.
"I told you idiot, should have listened to me" whispered Austin as he opened the car door.

End of flashback

So I'm currently sitting in the car, no one said anything to each other.
I didn't want to go with Justin as I wanted give him some space and let him tell me when he is ready.

"Come Jess" said Nithu as she grapped my hand. Justin was hesitating a bit but Katie was telling him to go inside Selena's room.

Justin turned around and was looking for someone. His eyes met mine and I didn't know what to do. He looked at me with sad eyes almost as if he was going to say goodbye.
I turned around and looked at Nithu, Ruth and Priya.
Doctor came out and told us to wait for a bit and then we could see selena.
I pulled Nithu, Ruth and Priya with me outside.
"Okay spill it!" I said looking at them.
"Spill what?" Asked Ruth.
"What in the world is happening?" I asked.
"I...--I" started Priya.

"Tell me" I whispered.
"Okay fine" said Ruth.
"Well as you know justin used to date her and well the year your family passed away you became less interested in Justin and during that time something happened to selena and she ended up coma"said Priya.

"But we never knew what happened to her" said Ruth.
"And technically justin and Selena never really broke up at the time" said Nithu. I felt like my heart was being ripped in two.
"Guys come on they are allowing us to go in" said Alfredo.
I couldn't move as I still couldn't get my head around. He pulled me with him.

....

"Before we let you in there is an important thing we have to tell you" said the doctor.

"According to Selena's mind it's still the year 2014 which means she is still dating justin in her mind" said the doctor and I couldn't take in anymore.

"Therefore you guys cannot tell her that she has been in coma for 3 years otherwise it will be a shock for her and it would affect her" finished the doctor. I couldn't handle it anymore I ran out of the door and no one noticed.
