Broken Souls

Chapter 1- The Beginning of the End

     My footsteps echoed on the ground, my hair waving in the wind behind me. Racing beside me was Midnight, a black fox with white on his tailtip and paws. He looked up at me, terror in his eyes. I was frightened too. Who wouldn't be if a demonic looking monster the size of a mountain was after you? Yeah, thats why we were running. I looked around, searching for my lost friends. Midnight yipped loudly in terror, and i picked him up and continued running, only this time faster. "C'mon Midnight, Ellida will be mad if you get eaten on my watch!" i huffed. A loud roar echoed through the forest i was running through, and i jumped and continued pushing my limits as i fled. I should probably explain how we got here, and how this all happened. Well i should probably start from the beginning.

I woke up to hear a familiar voice shout ,"Tamori, are you awake yet?". I responded with an "Im awake Mom!", and i got out of bed. I looked around the familiar sight of my room in the Red Army base with a grin. The walls were a pastel purple color, and the floor had light blue, shaggy carpet covoring it. In the corner was a dog bed, but it was missing the dog. I knew she was probably out playing with my little brother. I got dressed in my purple hoodie and blue-grey jeans. I had long ginger hair with brown tips, but that wasnt the craziest thing about me. My eyes were insane. They were the opposite of what you'd expect. My eyes were black with white pupils. I grinned and ran out of my room to find the rest of my family. I found Tamara,one of my mothers, first. Her brown hair was up in a small ponytail, and her void eyes were covored with a visor, the pupils of the visor glowing green. She smiled and said ,"Goodmorning, my dear!". I returned the smile and replied with "Morning Mom!". She grinned and said ,"Why dont you go find your little brother and play with him while your Mama and i make breakfast?". I smiled and said ,"Yes mother!". I then ran off to find Taro, my little brother.
