Chapter 20

A few hours later....

Qrow POV

"Are you sure she'll even show up Qrow?" Glynda asked doubting that Raven would show up

"Now Glynda it does take time for her to get the message. Even then its up to her to show up or not." Ozpin responded looking at her

"You know Raven, she's stubborn and likes to hang out in that little camp of-"

"My camp of what Qrow?"

I turned around to see Raven standing there. There was another girl standing beside her, and I recognized her as Vernal. 

"Well I'm glad you ladies could join us." Ozpin intertwined his hands looking at the two

"So where's Y/N?" Raven asked looking around

"That's why we called you here. Y/N was kidnapped." I stated

Raven's head snapped in my direction. Even with her mask on I could tell that she was shocked. Vernal looked at her with concern. Vernal only met Y/N once, so she didn't know much about her other than she was important to Raven. 

"Who took her!?" She demanded

"One of M/N's right hand minions. You remember that faunus Damian?" I asked as she nodded, "Well he threatened Ruby's life is she didn't go with him. Now she's in the midst of her mother." 

"This is not good." Raven shook her head

"Earlier on that day her mother sent her warriors to attack Beacon. They almost destroyed the coliseum along with everyone in it if it wasn't for Y/N and her team."  Glynda added

"We need to find them before she gets into Y/N's mind. Who knows what'll happen after that. She may take control." Raven stated worriedly

"That another reason why you're here..."

Emerald POV

Neo and I were silently listening in on the conversation happening in Ozpin's office. Now we had put a little microphone on Qrow when Mercury bumped into him. Our eyes widened as we heard that Y/N had been kidnapped. Neo and I immediately left our dorm and headed towards Junior's bar. Cinder decided to meet the twins, and Sienna there. Sienna also told us that she brought a friend of hers along. She told us that her name was Ilia and that she was a chameleon faunus. As we opened the doors to the bar there was absolutely no one there. Junior made sure that the bar was empty for us. As the others heard the doors open they turned to us,

"Well? What happened to Y/N?" Cinder asked

"Apparently she was kidnapped." I stated as we took a seat

"WHAT!?" The twins yelled

"Yeah apparently it was a person named M/N. She sent one of her minions to bring her to her, and they did just that." I stated as Cinder eyes widened at something behind me

"What was that name again?"

My eyes widened as I recognized the voice behind me. I turned my head around and almost fell out of my chair as Salem was staring at me with her red eyes. I gulped as I steadied myself,

"I-It was a person named M-M/N." I replied as Neo and the others looked at her with fear 

"That bitch!" Salem slammed her fist on a nearby table, destroying it.

This time I fell from my chair out of fear and backed up towards the others. Salem turned towards me her eyes glowing red,

"Did they mention anyone by the name of Damian?"

"Y-Yes." I looked up at her with wide eyes

She growled as her eyes turned a even brighter red,

"I want all of our plans for Beacon's downfall canceled. I won't allow her to take over Remnant before me!"

The rest of us flinched but nodded,

"Cinder you and your friends will still stay in Beacon. I want you to keep an eye on whats happening there. And Sienna...."

Sienna looked up at her afraid,

"Yes you're majesty?"

"I want you to keep the White Fang on alert. M/N will most likely go after your forces."

We all nodded in understanding,

"Good. I'll be communicating with you all more often after this." Salem stated as smoke began to appear around her

"Of course ma'am." Cinder responded as Salem disappeared

Ruby POV

I sat on my bed replaying the moments when that guy took Y/N. I knew it was my fault. If I wasn't there then none of this would have happened. If that guy wasn't threatening my life then Y/N wouldn't be gone. Suddenly Yang hopped up onto my bed and I turned to her,

"Hey." She smiled at me trying to cheer me up

I brought my legs to my chest and placed my head on my knees. 

"Hey come on its not your fault." Yang placed her arm around my shoulders

"But it is Yang!" I yelled as tears fell from my eyes, "If I wasn't there-if my life wasn't on the line then Y/N would still be here!"

Yang wiped the tears from my eyes,

"Ruby Y/N wouldn't want you to blame you for this. If she were here she would be telling you not to cry and not blame yourself. I'm sure she would be here with a whole bag of cookies just for you." She laughed 

"Hehe..yeah." I smiled softly

"Oh there;s your smile!" Yang teased

"Stop it!" I giggled hiding my smile

"Oh come on don't hide it!" Yang smiled

Suddenly she started to tickle my sides causing me to bust into a fit of giggles. I squirmed from under her as she continued,

"O-okay okay!" I giggled as tears of joy built up in my eyes

Yang eventually stopped and I laid there catching my breath. Yang smiled as she sat back on my bed,

"I brought you somethings cheer you up." She stated 

I smiled as she brought out her first gift. It was a whole bag of cookies, like 200 cookies in the bag! I smiled as she tossed them at me,

"And for the second gift..."

Yang hopped down from her bed with me following her. She grabbed something from under her bed,

"Dad sent this to us in the mail..." 

It was a little scroll looking thing and she smiled as she started to open it. A bunch of dog food came out before a familiar face popped out,

"Zwei!!" I yelled as he jumped into my arms 

He licked my face before jumping out of my arms. He looked around wagging his tail as if he was looking for someone. My heart hurt as I realized who he was looking for,

"Sorry buddy but Y/N isn't here at the moment."

He whined as his ears flattened to his head,

"Hey but don't worry! She'll be here soon!" Yang cheered

His mood immediately picked up as he barked and started to run around. Yang and I shared a look before focusing our attention on Zwei.
