"Hey guys, welcome!" Jessica greeted warmly as Mike entered the home with William tailing behind him. As Mike went in for a hug, Jessica returned the embrace politely, and did the same to William who secretly blushed from women contact. He was going through his beginning stages of puberty, where girls and their private area was all the boys could think about, and the simple act of hugging got his hormones to race. As he felt her breasts against his side, he could barely hold himself from saying something about them.

Mike glanced towards her stomach, "Everything with you and the baby okay?"

Jessica nodded rapidly, "Yes, she's been very healthy and were due in a few months so everything is positive."

"Glad to hear," Mike smiled before grabbing William's wrist and pulling him inside the home. Instantly, when he marched towards the living room, his heart warmed when he spotted all his old friends. Cole had grown a bit chubbier, but was still as comical and friendly as before. Liam had the same old habits, partying until the black covered his vision, but being a bit older, he decided to hit harder drugs and liquor than his younger years. Dave and Hanzo both waved their drinks towards Mike, who approached them and hugged them both at the same time. He greeted them excitingly, and waved towards James who was talking to a woman at the balcony exit from the kitchen. Eric's home was average, did not portray a millionaire and it was very relaxing. Although it was different from the rich folks usual landscapes, all of them felt much more at ease and down to earth when they arrived to Eric's home.

They all greeted William as well, a few hugging him as they knew him since Mike brought him to a few of their hangouts, but the thought of August always returned when he was around. He had the same features; sharp eyes with curled hair, pointed slim nose with high cheek bones. Even the manner he smiled was a reminder of how August was, and a few of them scratched their head uneasily as they observed him march through to the kitchen.

As he disappeared behind the double doors to the kitchen, Cole leaned over towards Mike discreetly, "Has he spoken about her, at all?"

As Mike downed the beer he had found on the table, he shook his head and gulped, "He doesn't even remember her that much."

Cole bit his bottom lip, "I still think about her from time to time."

"I have to tell you something later," Mike initiated, but when Cole's eyes brightened, Mike pointed a finger onto his chest, "I said later."

Cole excitingly nodded his head, and that was when Eric entered the living room, embracing his brother who had decided to arrive terribly late. "Thanks for showing up?"

Mike snickered, "You told me late afternoon."

"Emphasis on afternoon," Eric laughed, "Not late."

"Either way, I'm here aren't I?"

"What's up Eric?" William greeted from behind him, a soda bottle in his hand.

Eric smiled brightly, "Hey buddy, nice for you to show up."

"Mike was taking his sweet ass time, I was fucking annoyed," he hissed, narrowing his eyes towards Mike who rolled his eyes.

"At least I look handsome; you look like someone took a shit on you," Mike insulted.

William's face softened as he turned away, "Do you always have to be so mean to me?"

Mike raised his eyebrows, leaning towards his younger step-brother and wrapped an arm around his shoulders, "I'm fucking joking. Stop being so sensitive—"
