My eyes fluttered open to shouting coming from the kitchen.

"She's grown up, she can take care of herself" Beau shouted

"Well clearly not. She got herself bashed up" Jai yelled back. I took in my surroundings.I had fallen asleep last night on Lukes shoulder. I got up, ignoring the pain.

"Your both wrong" I yelled at them.

"Esth-"

"No. Listen to me. I'm old enough to defend for myself. That thing yesterday was one off. I was just too tired to fight back. Ok, now can we leave it at that? Where's Mum anyway?" I wondered, as she didn't seem to be anywhere.

"Work trip. She'll be back in two weeks" I sighed. Two weeks with these dorks? How will I ever survive?

......

"What are you doing" I asked the twins as I entered the living room, wearing my netball uniform.

"U-stream. come join". I sat down in the middle of them and stared at the screen that suddenly became flooded with questions. Most of them asking who I was, how did I know the janoskians, eg. "Hey, Est, when do you have netball?" Jai suddenly asked

"Uhh...10 minutes, but it's just across the road, so I can walk, but I wouldn't mind you driving me to soccer tonight? " I asked hopefully. They both sighed, which made me giggle. No matter how much we fight, I do love my family. I couldn't ask for anything better...well, Tyla as my boyfriend wouldn't mind me, but he'd never go out with a person like me.

"Well...what do you guys usually do on u-stream?" I asked, breaking the silence that had kindly joined us.

"We answer questions and usually sing"They said in sync...strange children.

"Well, last time you sang for me, you, oh so kindly sang the peanut butter jelly song" I said sarcastically. I got bored after a while, so I grabbed my coat, and headed out to netball training. I was actually excited for netball for once. I knew for a fact that Shaqueal trained on Saturdays too, which meant Tyla. once I arrived, my group had already started, so I jogged over and joined in. After the usual practices, training was over. I saw Tyla sitting on the bleachers that were set up for games. He smiled at me and I swear a part of me died. I grabbed my drink bottle and jumper, and started to walk off, being too scared to talk to him.

"Esther, wait. I need to ask you something" I heard that all too familiar voice call out, wait, he wants to ask me something? Could it be what I think it is? Breathe Esther, just breathe.

"Hiiii" I said, dragging the 'i' as I was too busy day dreaming about his sexy face to notice. Real cool Esther, real cool. He opened his mouth to speak.

"Will you ask your brothers if it's ok if I come by later?" I could already feel tears running down my face. How could he ever ask me out? Before he could ask if I was ok, I ran seat. I ran home as fast as I could. Tears still running down my face. I bursted through the front door, not caring whether my brothers were watching me. I slammed my bedroom door behind me, and just collapsed in a heap. I heard the door open and close, and several footsteps. Warm arms comforted me as I cried into Lukes chest.
