yoongi woke up the next day. perhaps he overslept? he scrambled for his phone and turned it on.

"3:43 pm?! fuck!!" yoongi sighed in frustration. "at least i have time to prepare." he slipped out of bed, phone in hand, and got ready for his date. he just hoped that nothing would go wrong, on his first date with the person he knew was right for him. he wasn't right about that last time.

20 minutes later, yoongi finished preparing. he decided to wear his best suit, the best one he could find. a gucci suit! he smiled to himself as he knew he looked good in it. it smelled of freshly picked strawberries and vanilla, and yoongi was very proud of himself to be able to afford this kind of suit. he even wore his nicest socks and shoes to go with his already stunning outfit. he practically glowed. yoongi texted jungkook to tell him he was ready for their date.

i'm ready for our date!~
i'd be happy to pick you up,
what's your address?

baby kookie 💖: ohh, i almost
forgot!! my address is

i'll be ready in like 15 minutes!!

yoongi turned off his phone and sighed. he couldn't help thinking about the past, and how much he'd fucked up back then with him. he tried hard to shake the thoughts away. he couldn't let his stupid memories ruin him tonight.

while yoongi drove, he still thought about before. his past with his ex. to be honest, he still wonders where he could be to this day. and after all, this whole drop-by-and-suddenly-fall-in-love thing was exactly the same thing that had happened with yoongi and his ex. he had dimples, was definitely taller than him, and wore the warmest smile he had ever seen at that time. and the worst fucking part,

he was a damn flirt.

yoongi had finally arrived, and he stood up straight (not really) and fixed his tie, trying his best to look confident. he knocked on the door almost too harshly, and he could hear a faint voice say, "shit, that startled me." he soon heard footsteps approaching towards the door, and the door opened.

the older male cleared his throat. "hey kookie~ you're looking amazing." he then stared into jungkook's eyes and seemed to get lost in them. they held a special kind of shine he had never seen in anyone's eyes before. they were like stars, shining in the dark mass of space, like—

"bro, you're kinda staring. i mean, not like it's bad or anything-"

yoongi gasped and immediately snapped out of his entranced state. "i-i'm sorry!! i was just... uh..."

"ah, it's alright! let's just go." jungkook said as he locked the door and grabbed yoongi's hand and went down the steps. the both of them got inside the car, and yoongi drove.

they arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes later, and the both of them were surprised to see the practically glowing building in front of them. there were sparkling string lights hung up on the exterior walls of the restaurant. although looking simple on the outside, the inside was bustling with people and satisfied families and couples to loners could be seen leaving the restaurant. jungkook gasped in awe as he took in the sight. he turned to yoongi and grinned. "you really brought me here?? it's so beautiful here... are you really sure i'm that good enough for you?"

"of course you are." were the only words that yoongi replied with. he took jungkook's warm hand in his cold one and entered the restaurant. the head waiter greeted them with a warm smile and escorted them to their table. yoongi and jungkook both sat next to each other and picked up their menus. yoongi made a quite confused face as he read the variety of food on the menu. it was a mix of western food, such as burgers and fries, while there was also asian food. yoongi sweat as he assumed the restaurant wouldn't be fancy enough for jungkook. but when he looked over to jungkook, he was smiling.

"the menu is awesome! they have all of my favorite foods here!" jungkook said happily. yoongi was a bit shocked as that wasn't the reaction he was expecting from jungkook. but he nodded and just kept his order in his mind, while he took out his phone and took a picture of jungkook smiling brightly. yoongi smiled at the picture and set his phone down on the table.

the time came for the both of them to leave. they had enjoyed their meal, and although the both of them didn't really speak to each other, yoongi and jungkook could both say they had a great time. yoongi admired every little thing jungkook did, while jungkook admired every little thing yoongi did. if you had seen them together, you could very much tell they are deeply in love.

however, one person did know what they did tonight at this restaurant.
